Work Text:

Trinity Santos was many things, but one of them was determined. Her current goal was to do the 'on top of cars' trend that's been going around. However, the goal was much bigger than that. It was to get Dennis Whitaker to do it with her.

No one else was good enough for the job and she couldn't do it alone. Most of her coworkers were either to old or to professional, Mel wouldn't be into it, and Victoria already said she'd film it. Plus, she's seen that farm boy get loose.

As if it were fate, she saw said boy charting while eating a granola bar — not busy in the slightest. So she set off on her mission.

"Huckleberry! Just the guy I wanted to see!" Dennis immediately looked up from the computer to his roommate striding towards him. "Whats up?" he asked while continuing to eat his granola bar. Trinity came up closer now talking in a quieter voice, "After this shift, you're making a tiktok with me." The curly haired boy was a bit skeptical about this, she always seemed to surprise him. "…Which one?" She smirked, "You know, the on top of cars one. We can do it in the parking lot after we clock out." Dennis's faced dropped. "No! No way," he practically squealed. The girl sighed, "Come on huckleberry, please. Just this once." Dennis did not think she would resort to begging. "I'll let you pick the songs on the way home AND let you pick what we watch." Dennis was not moved, "The answer is still no." He thought that would be the end of it and went back to charting. "I tell everyone you accidentally walked into the girls restroom at the bar last week," this time the words were whispered into his ear. He surrendered, "Fine, but I'm picking what food we eat too." A smile was found on Trinity's face, "Thank you! See you in the parking lot!" She then left him to go discharge one of her patients.

Dennis glanced around the floor to see if anyone was watching them, only to find Victoria looking over at him smiling from her computer. Why did he agree to this?

The rest of his shift wasn't to bad. It was like the city of Pittsburgh decided to not do anything drastic. He only had to change his scrubs once! After he grabbed his belongings from his locker he headed out to the parking lot like he promised. He did occasionally think about what he was about to do throughout the day. Doing so made him more confident about the whole thing — it was just for fun.

He found Trinity waiting for him along with Victoria and Mel. He assumed Victoria had something to do with this but he was confused about Mel. She didn't seem too happy to be there. "So where are we doing this?" He meant this in a way of, 'where are we parking the car' not the answer he just got. "On Robby's motorcycle!" Trinity said. All the confidence about the idea evaporated. Despite Trinity's car being reliable it wasn't the prettiest to look at, but he assumed they'd be doing this on her car.

"What!?" was all he could get out. "Yeah, Victoria is going to record it and Mel is going to keep watch," she supplied like this was normal. Mel gave a meek smile in support. "No! I can't do that to Robby's bike!" he was about to turn to leave, catch a bus if he had to. "Yes we are! Remember what I told you. Plus, it will be less than a minute if we do it good." She had grabbed his arm and dragged him over to the bike.

"Can I at least see a video so I have an idea on what to do?" he asked. Victoria pulled out her phone and he scrolled through four before giving it back. Trinity was right, if he did it good the first time, the less time they'd be out here. Trinity then began outlining the plan, "First you're going to lean against here and lip sync while I dance in front of the back — make sure to be sassy, I know you can." He rolled his eyes as she continued, "Then, you're going to sit on it so the bike is held up while I briefly dance on it. While you sit, fake honk and put your back into it. During the part where it says throw it back, I want you to prop one leg up and you know, do what the song says while I pose by the front of the bike." A blush crept onto Dennis's face while she explained the rest. "I'll then go to back while you go the front and we can both lip sync, once again, put your back into it. For the last part get on like you're about to ride it again and this time act like you riding a horse — or someone, and I will sit on the back facing the opposite way. During the 'all I hang around with baddies' I want you to point to me." The plan sounded easy, they quickly ran through it twice. Robby only stayed late for so long.

After the run through, Dennis felt somewhat confident. He got into character easily. Not thinking about the fact this was his boss's motorcycle made it easier. Victoria started recording the first clip and it went great. Trinity got low while Dennis acted like he owned the bike. Then carefully, Trinity climbed onto the back and stood up to continuing dancing. Dennis did add more sass into it and like Trinity told him to, he put his back into it. He was more nervous for the next part but it went better than expected. He was wearing a pair of Wranglers that he's probably had for a decade at this point, they've been through much worse. The rest of clips went as well as the ones before and they ended up getting a successful first take. Trinity thanked Victoria and then all three of them moved Robby's bike back to its original spot. Mel was freed from her duties as well.

"How did you get Mel to keep watch?" he asked as the two walked to her car. "She owed me a favor." He decided to leave it at that.

Trinity posted the video by the time they got to the car.

Dennis did not expect that video to blow up. He had some spare time that morning when he was getting ready so he decided to read the comments.

Who's the mousy boy?? 😼

ive seen this mouse boy once and i will protect him with my life

i need that mullet boy

He was not expecting that at all. There were also many reaction photos and gifs directed towards him.

However, the comments were not the worst part. The video had gotten to the pitt. "Nice dance moves Whitaker," Mohan teased when he walked in. His face dropped. Shortly after, he soon realized everyone knew about the video — except for Robby. He did catch Perlah and Princess telling Dana which led to him being subjected to what could only be described as a disappointed mom look. Although he did catch the tiniest smirk. So far, his coworkers have thankfully not told Robby about what they did. He would die if he found out.

Robby just got out of Trauma 1, just sent a guy up to surgery. He mindlessly went over to his desk to look for a distraction since his personal human stress ball was no where near. He didn't mean for it turn out that way but Whitaker just seemed to go with it. He's never done something like this with any of his other residents, but he doesn't let himself dwell of those thoughts.

"They did it on Robby's bike!" he heard Princess whisper to someone. That caught his attention immediately, his bike was his pride and joy. He turned his head over to both Princess and Perlah, "I'm sorry, what?" If something happened to his bike, he should be the first to know. They both did not acknowledge him but happened to whisper just a little louder to the nurse they were talking too. "Yeah, Santos and Whitaker did it on Robby's bike!"

Robby's eyes widen. Not in shock or disgust, but strangely in jealousy. He was more pressed about Santos and Whitaker being together then them doing it on his bike. He knew they were roommates but he never suspected they were a thing. Yes, them doing it on his bike is disgusting and breaking so many rules, but Whitaker deserves better than that. Santos is a great doctor but he's seen they way she bullies him and drags him into stuff he doesn't want to do. Whitaker was probably just being too nice like he usually is.

What he heard stuck with him the entire shift. He guessed it showed on his face because people were more careful around him. It didn't help that he could not find Whitaker at all. Maybe the kid knew what he did was wrong. It's not that Robby was trying to confront him, he just found the kid's presence grounding — especially after Pittfest.

Abbot came in early like he usually does and found Robby moping around. Robby didn't even have time to get a word out before Jack dragged him to some random corner of the hospital. "What's going on?" he questioned. All he got in response was Jack pulling his phone out of his pocket. "I can tell you've heard something about Santos and Whitaker." Robby just looked at him weirdly before he responded, "Yeah. What they did was highly inappropriate and I can't find Whitaker anywhere." Jack let out a disappointed sigh. "You got it all wrong brother. Look." He promptly handed his phone to the taller attending with a video pulled up.

Robby was only confused for a second before he was entranced. Whitaker in fact was not in a relationship with Santos. Instead he was doing the sexiest thing he'd ever seen to his bike. The way he 'rode' his bike like he was on a horse in whatever Midwestern state he was from did something to him. He was forever grateful the video automatically repeated. Robby watched it for a good ten times before Jack snatched his phone back.

Jack gave him a look and Robby could only say one thing, "Can I get the link?"
