Work Text:

Pepper leaned in slowly. “Is this okay?” he said, putting his soft hand on Xiao's nape. “Mhm,” Xiao responded, dragging out the last syllable. Peppermint's soft lips lightly covered Xiao's, engulfing him in a tender kiss. Pepper's hand was on his waist and the back of his head, keeping him in place. Xiao leaned into the kiss, getting on the edge of his feet; he had to stand higher. The moon was drifting across the sky as they melted into each other, shifted slightly, and adjusted under Pepper's weight. Pepper was gentle, slow-moving, and did not wanting to hurt him. Their bodies moved together as if in a slow dance.

Tongues intertwined, breaths stolen. The silhouettes of 2 figures flowed like the ocean waves, smoothly and rhythmically. The magnetic pull of Peppermint's gentle gravity simply just yanked at Xiao’s heart even more. Their lips parted for rare gasps of air. Xiao leaned to kiss, embracing Peppermint's presence. The calling of the breeze wisped through the circus, and it whispered a little in their ears. It had wisped past quickly, leaving them in silence, with only the sound of each other's careful breaths.

Xiao stumbled a little, his knees drooped under the gaze of the Peppermint, that soft kind gaze that could make stars question if they're pretty. Peppermint leaned back down, getting on his knees to better feel Xiao’s lingering touch. Peppermint leaned to the side to nibble at Xiao’s ear, his breath hitched at the soft bite.

His back drooped, He quivered a little at the soft bite on his ear. It felt as if electricity went down through his back. Peppermint made sure not to hurt him but leave a mark. Pepper moved down a little with a small shift of movement. Peppermint bit softly at his neck, then his collarbone to his stomach, leaving a faint mark.

Xiao had to shift to moving closer to Pepper. Xiao's head felt light, the corners of his vision started to blur, but his eyes were still locked on Peppermint's lips, even though thoughts were swirling around as if they were autumn leaves in his head. A quiet sanctuary for their shared breaths.

Xaio gripped onto pepper clothing, anchoring himself to the other person. Their breathing was synced, breaths fast. The world had still been spinning beneath peppermint where Xiao lay. “You're still breathing,” Pepper whispered playfully. The air nipped at Xaios' neck where Pepper's lips have just been, bringing that to his attention, he flinched a little.

In the dim lighting, Xiao searched for Pepper's face. His alluring, magisterial, pleasing face. “Yeah,” Xaio let out a shaky breath, and a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. His raspy voice cutting through the sound of their heavy breathing. Pepper's hands were still set firmly on Xaios's waist not letting go, leaning down to get a better look at his love. As the smell of apples and sawdust faded, the smells of Peppermint's cool, fresh scent filled the air around him, engulfing them, engulfing the last light of the stars between their lips.
