    He looked down and saw a spider, its weird biter things piercing his skin.

    Steve nearly let out a scream, swatting the spider off his hand. The spider fell to the ground harmlessly, remaining still. When it didn’t get back up, Steve nudged it with his foot. It remained still.

    Steve bent down and picked it up hesitantly, examining the bug under his flashlight. The spider was blue and red. Why was it blue and red? Last Steve checked, blue and red spiders didn’t even exist. “What the hell…?” he muttered to himself, but his thoughts were cut off by the sound of a high-pitched scream.

    (I feel like I should tell all of you that this is a fic that is meant to be part of a serious, which will contain Jancy, Byler, and Steddie endgame. Just so you know.)
