Summary
Tamtey has spent her late teens crushing RDA bases all across the western frontier. She has grown into her Na’vi roots deeper than she thought was possible since escaping TAP. Every time she sees the Aranahe climbing the roots of hometree, the Zeswa galloping on their pa’li mounts, or the Kame’tire blending their remedies, she gets a sense that this is what it means to be Sarentu. To appreciate the unique qualities of every clan in Pandora, to flit between them and connect with all of Eywa’s children. Over the past year, since escaping TAP, she has emerged as the protector and leader of her small but mighty Sarentu family. It was Ri’nela’s suggestion that she take her place as Olo’eykte. Her Tsahik’s belief in her pushed her to undertake this responsibility. Tamtey now faces a new challenge, her first as an official leader, and this takes her to the other side of Pandora. Her goal is to aid Jake Sully and crush the RDA.
Along the way, she meets his young warrior son, Neteyam, and their bond grows closer as both face the hardships of responsibility and leadership.
