Vicious bee darted away from Windy bee’s domain, they didn’t want to linger even a little bit more in there. They probably should’ve just taken their claw-gloves with them, but they had already left it there
Once Vicious bee finally reached the main place, a particular figure towered over in the distance; they were a dark crimson, with one eye gone and replaced by a unique prosthetic, they were covered in scars with some rips in their wing membrane, they had so many scars that it basically became its own marking
Vicious bee recognised the figure, they horribly damaged that dragon during their third attempt at defeating them with the devastating attack Windy bee used against them
Suddenly, the scar-covered dark crimson dragon spoke in a slow and harsh tone, “So, looks like you won? And where are your cla—“
”DON’T YOU DARE TAUNT ME, PRECISE BEE!” Vicious bee yelled
”And?” Precise bee added
”I— I— YOU— UH— THEY— UH—“
”SHUT UP THIS INSTANT!” Precise bee bellowed as they stamped their sore foot into the ground, causing Vicious bee to flinch
Precise bee lightly pinched their forehead with their claws and sighed. “I know you learnt nothing from what anyone advised you.”
”SO WHAT? IT WAS ALL USELESS! I DIDNT NEED SUCH WORDS!” Vicious bee roared
”Okay? Look what you did to me,” Precise bee shouted. That was when Vicious bee noticed all the scars covering Precise bee, small trypophobic holes and rips were everywhere in their wings, their claws were broken and so much more damage.”I have such a hard time flying because of you.”
Precise bee approached Vicious bee, standing up straight while spreading their heavily damaged wings, towering over the crouched Vicious bee. “Why do you think the spite in my blood thickened? Why do you think you’re sooooo good, you completely forget it’s against the Oath of Wings to hurt a dragon’s wings?”
The Oath of Wings! Vicious bee suddenly realised. Their desperation for power grew so large they completely forget about the Oath of Wings. Wing 2 stated that hurting a dragon’s wings is prohibited. Every winged dragon needed their wings, and those wings cannot regenerate, there was a chance Vicious bee’s own wings will be torn off as well! Wing 6 stated that the quote “an eye for an eye” is applicable as a punishment for any breaking of the Oath of Wings
”I— I— I’m s-s-so sorry…” Vicious bee bowed down, trying their hardest to apologise as much as possibly
”Your wings may get torn off as well, or at least they will recreate the damage patterns you inflicted onto my wings. Wanna see how it affects me?” Precise bee asked
Vicious bee nodded, still bowing down
Precise bee shot into the air. However, the take-off wasn’t as high as before. Precise bee frantically flapped their wings to gain height, but in the end, they glided to the ground. They couldn’t even stick the respectful landing
The moment Precise bee landed, they snapped their head to Vicious bee, fury was etched into their singular non-prosthetic eye. “THIS, THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE DONE! DO YOU SEE IT NOW?” Precise bee yelled at Vicious bee
There was no way in bee swarm could Vicious bee fly again if their wings were damaged like that. Precise bee’s wingspan is way bigger than Vicious bee’s, if Precise bee could barely stay aloft like that, Vicious bee may only be able to take-off before immediately landing
Precise bee saw the concern and realisation in Vicious bee’s eyes. They sighed. “I know what you’re thinking, I know my wingspan is larger than yours. If you have similar damages to mine, you won’t be able to fly. Is that what you think?”
Vicious bee also sighed. Wing 1 stated that a dragon must accept defeat with honour. “I accept any punishment the other dragons decide for me, including the punishment of ‘an eye for an eye’ if I have to receive matching wing damaged with you.”
Precise bee’s expression shifted, almost like they’re surprised or even smiling. “Thats more like it.”
”Vicious bee!” Hasty bee crashed from the sky onto the ground near Vicious bee
”Huh, thats strange, I thought you would snap at me,” Hasty bee said, brushing off some dirt
Vicious bee stayed quiet, keeping their face of ferocity
”Whatever.” Hasty bee coughs a few times as they took out a letter from their satchel
”Vicious bee, you are to report to the courthouse for your disobedience towards the Oath of Wings tomorrow. If you do not arrive, we will assume you are a coward who has not accepted defeat with honour, disobeying the Oath of Wings even further. Don’t forget. You may take this letter if you need to remember.”
Vicious bee nodded, reaching out their claw for Hasty bee to give the letter. As Hasty bee was about to place the note on Vicious bee’s palm, they eyes their claws weirdly before flying off
Vicious bee looked at the letter, reading it for themself. Although they would have their wings permanently damaged, they will accept such a feat with honour
