   Summary

   Wade is freaking out, letting muscle memory do all the work. His left side is shot, he can feel the thick sticky blood soaking into his suit. He looks around for Peter, but all he can make out are more men pouring out of God-knows-where, guns raised.
   And Peter isn’t there.
   Wade’s running out of rubber bullets.
   And he’s scared.
   Wade is scared.
   He’s going to die here, and Peter is going to find him dead, and he’s going to be so sad, so upset, and Wade can’t let that happen. He can’t let Peter be sad because of him. He can’t imagine Peter going through that again and then he sees him.
