Chapter Text
Astro walks into the kitchen watching Sprout cook something. He walks closer nudging Sprouts shoulder. The sudden touch made Sprout jump, he turned around asking, "did you need something Cosmo?" astro stared at him for a moment, "I'm Astro." Sprout had a flash of panic in his face before turning back into a smile "I'm just joking! Don't worry so much!" Sprout turned around to keep working, Astro grabbed his shoulder again "Sprout you need to stop thinking about him." Sprout just nudged Astro off of him and kept cooking.
After a few hours Sprout entered his room, he hated being in there, he hated seeing all those posters of Cosmo, the plushies, everything, there was only one thing he liked about his room,how easy it was to hide things. He stared at the calendar in his room, "he left 5 months ago and he's still avoiding me as if I'm some sort of.. Monster!" he stopped looking at the calendar and reached for something smuggled behind a cabinet "maybe he's right to think that?" he glided the blade across his skin the pain shooting through him, he didn't really care.
Astro found Sprout an hour or two later, "Sprout! There you are! Someone wanted to say hi,he said he used to be a friend of yours" Sprout looked at Astro trying to piece together who he was talking about. Before Sprout could react, Astro grabbed him excitedly and took him towards the stranger. "Alright I found Sprout!" Sprout stared at the stranger, his brain trying to remember why he felt so uncomfortable, it took him a moment to realize who it was. "Astro, do you even know who he is?" Astro nodded "do you remember what he did?" Astro just stared at him wondering why he asked that "no? I don't really remember him we haven't seen him since childhood." Sprout started shaking as the stranger reached for his hand "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME" Astro stepped back in shock and the stranger got angry "we used to be friends Sprout, remember?" sprout stormed off
The stranger said hello to Astro and then left, Poppy eventually walked in because of the yelling "what's happening in here?" Astro turned around greeting poppy "it's just Finn came by and wanted to say to sprout-" Astro was cut off as poppy slapped her hand on his mouth "You shouldn't talk about him around sprout! Do you even know what he did?" Astro shook his head "we should talk about him here.. " poppy grabbed Astro and walked out of the room.
