Tea had been awake for a while now, though most of the time he had just been playing around on his phone. He didn't scroll all too often, but he didn't have much to do at the time. Suddenly he got a notification.
"pOLIce: Hey u doing anything today?"
Tea smiled slightly seeing the message.
"TeaTime: Well good morning to you too Oli"
"TeaTime: And no I got nothing going on, why?"
"pOLIce: Well I'm bored and thought we should exist in each other's presence for awhile"
"TeaTime: Ah yes the pinnacle of entertainment!"
"pOLIce: Obviously! Being around me is the most exciting part of your day after all!"
Tea propped himself up with his arm before responding.
"TeaTime: Naturally. I've been staring at my phone just waiting for you!"
"pOLIce: Well I won't keep you waiting TOO long! I don't want you to die from boredom!"
Tea paused, staring at the message for a second.
"TeaTime: When did we agree that you were coming over here?"
"pOLIce: I always come over! Your house is basically my house too :')"
Tea openly sighed at Oliver's response, running his fingers through his hair.
"TeaTime: Whatever, just don't take too long!"
Left on delivered. Tea sighed, rolling his eyes while smiling. He continued to mess around on his phone until Oliver showed up.
Oliver knocked on Tea's door rapidly "Hurry up! It's freezing out here!" Oliver, regardless of the fact of him being over to Tea's house multiple times, always seemed to forget how much money Tea really had. Tea opened the door and Oliver almost scripted like spoke "Finally! I was about to turn into a popsicle out here!" Oliver was met with a deadpan from Tea "Damn, guess I should have waited a little longer!" Oliver and Tea started to walk inside and Oliver began to speak again "If I were a popsicle what flavor would I be? I think I would be chocolate!" Tea looked over at him "Because of your hair?" Tea lifted a finger to point towards Oliver's head. Oliver had a somewhat offended expression "No! Because chocolate is objectively the best flavor! And I think I would be the best flavor!" Tea chuckled lightly and Oliver continued on another seemingly random conversation "How do you feel about movie theaters? I personally don't get the hype! Sure you get a bigger screen, but the food is so expensive, and it's always crowded! Like, just wait for the movie to come out and buy it!" Tea answered matter of factly "You only hate crowded places because you hate being around people." Oliver quickly tried to defend himself "Movie theaters are overwhelming! Everyone can agree that THAT many people can get you disoriented!"
Oliver and Tea made their way into Tea's room before Tea responded "I don't go to the movie theater much but I don't get overwhelmed!" Oliver crossed his arms before sitting on Tea's bed "Well then I guess you're just weird!" Tea raked his fingers through his hair, smiling before sitting next to Oliver "Guess you're not wrong." They stared at each other for a moment before Oliver quickly darted his head to look in any other direction, turning a little bit red on his face and ears. "So did you want to do anything? Or should we just 'Exist in each other's presence'?" Tea continued to look at Oliver regardless if he wasn't meeting his eyes. Oliver began to think, he hadn't thought of anything to do. He would never tell, but he just wanted to be around Tea today. Tea could tell Oliver had no idea, so he made an offer "We could watch a movie? There are a few new releases we could watch! I don't know if they're that good but anything is better than nothing!" Oliver seemed to perk up a little at this, finally returning his gaze back to Tea "Have they released that one movie yet? I heard about it awhile ago and I thought it sounded really good!" Tea smiled at Oliver's enthusiasm and handed over the TV remote "Why don't you look for it! If it's available we can watch it!" Oliver quickly took the remote from Tea's hand and began searching for the movie while excitedly talking about the movie trailer and what he found interesting. Tea smiled at him only halfway listening to what he was saying while halfway admiring how passionate he could be over things he liked.
Oliver and Tea were about halfway through the movie, a fantasy movie with a relatively repetitive plot of a group of powerful users with magic trying to defeat a cruel and powerful villain. Oliver was invested in the movie barely paying attention, in fact he was stealing the blanket that him and Tea were sharing. Tea noticed this and began to tug back on the blanket "Oli pay attention! You're stealing the blanket!" This seemed to snap Oliver out of his trance but he quickly began to tug back on the blanket a little "Don't pull it too hard! You're going to take it all!" Tea laughed at this "Ironic for you to say! You tried to steal it first!" The two of them began tugging at the blanket, fighting to keep it on themselves. For a moment Tea stopped pulling trying to adjust his hands, but quickly Oliver pulled the blanket along with Tea, falling onto Oliver.
Tea pushed himself up onto his forearms, still hovering over Oliver. Oliver's arms were pinned to his sides from the position him and Tea were in. They locked eyes with each other, both a little red in the face from the previous tussle over the blanket. Their faces were extremely close together, close enough to... Oliver began to turn red, extremely embarrassed by how close Tea was to him. Tea's face was slightly pink but nothing compared to Oliver. Tea's hair slightly brushed against Oliver's face, almost causing Oliver to shiver. They stared at each other in silence, the movie still playing in the background. Tea's mind was blank, face overall calm, but his heart was beating so loud he worried Oliver could hear it. Oliver's mind tried to process a million things at once, never actually able to fully make a thought due to his panic. Then suddenly, Tea silently pushed himself back up and off Oliver, who was still laying back in his initial shock. Oliver quickly shot himself back to a sitting up position, still really red in the face. Tea was now the one averting his eyes. Oliver, not sure what to say or do just sputtered out an apology "S-sorry I didn't mean to do that..." Tea, still not looking at Oliver quietly responded "It's fine... Just don't steal it again." Oliver with a very obvious nervous tone spoke again "Yep! Got it! I'll try not to space out again." The two of them stayed silent throughout the rest of the movie. Both of them were unable to focus on said movie anyway, but it was better than trying to interact and make conversation after what just happened.
