   Summary

   The story begins in the first days of the Trojan war. Achilles is fifteen and goes to war, convinced he is to prove he is worth his epithets. Brilliant Achilles, swift-footed Achilles, Godlike Achilles. A goddess' son. But he doesn't expect it to last as long as it does.
   The fic follows the nine years of the war that we don't read about in the Iliad, when Achilles is still finding his place amongst kings and slowly building his namesake. A blessing to the Greeks and the Troy's nightmare come to life.
