Summary
Yuuji had been experiencing some sort of separation anxiety— or whatever you call it when his omega couldn't help but drown in his nest with barely a mind to his health. When Megumi had walked through the door, tophis alpha instincts urged to find his omega after not receiving a single message the whole day.
Worry had etched deep in his bones due to some reason, when he found Yuuji, in his clumsy nest, clutching one of his sweaters to his nose while he had draped himself with nothing but Megumi's shirt and baby blue panties.
Before the alpha could utter a word, he was startled by the sudden pounce from his Omega. Yuuji barely tried to hide the sobs that ached to rip through him. An overprotective lilt seeped into Megumi's scent, his strong arms locking securely around Yuuji.
It was only after he had calmed Yuuji down— which took a lot of time considering the instant (whines) request asking Megumi to scent him— did he figure out the reason for his distress. “I felt anxious when I couldn't sense pheromones.”
