Pigeon

Summary:

Hisashi snaps after a year of arguing with Inko over their quirkless son. He takes his son to America after a job opportunity lets him. This is a good thing, right? When Izuku is older, he keeps his dream of going to UA and begs his father to let him go. Hisashi lets him, the condition is that he has to stay out of trouble, and he has to convince his friends to go with him. Hisashi can't join himself because of work. Izuku has no trouble convincing his friends to join him. Going a year early can't hurt, right? It will help his American friends get accustomed to Japanese customs. Does that actually happen? Debatable.
OR
Izuku was taken to America at a young age. He met good friends and decided to go back to Japan to study at UA. He decided to go a year early since his Japanese was a little rusty. His friends joined him. Somehow, they become vigilantes, to train, obviously.

Chapter Text

“Mama, mama! Lookie lookie!” The small child held up a ball of mud, at least Inko hopes its mud, and she smiled at him.

“Wow Izuku, what a lovely…” she trails off, her sons imagination could have made the ball of dirt and water anything.

“Mama! It’s Kacchan!!” Izuku grins, happy and almost exasperated. If Inko really squints she can maybe see a face but would never have guessed the loud blond, though she’d never tell her happy son that.

“I see! It looks exactly like Katsuki! You did very good. Are you getting hungry? We should probably get lunch huh?” At her words, the younger carefully set down the mud sculpture and grinned at her as he nodded and skipped along beside her. When they arrived at their home they washed their hands.

As Inko cooked, there was a knock on the door. “Izuku hunny, will you get the door for mommy?” The only reason she’s ok with her 5 year old getting the door is because she already knows who’s there, probably.

“Ok Mommy!” The door swings open slowly as the young boy peeks out, quickly swinging the door open soon after when he recognizes the pair of blonds with a brunette. “KACCHAN!” The boys grin, grabbing each other's hands, and running to Izuku’s room as the adults enter the kitchen to talk with Inko, the brunette taking over cooking while the women chat and gossip.

“So when is Izuku’s appointment?” Mitsuki asks as she sits down at the table with Inko.

“Next week. I’m concerned about him now. He’s already 5 and his quirk still hasn’t come in.” Inko places her left hand on cheek in worry, her right hand clasped around a cup of steeping tea.

“I’m sure it’s nothing Inko. He’s probably just a late bloomer. That isn’t that uncommon you know. Maybe his quirk is too powerful for his small body and it will come in when he’s strong enough.” The blond woman placates Inko gently, her demeanor much calmer than normal while soothing her best friend.

“Yea… you’re right. Thank you Mitsuki. You’re the best.” Inko smiles softly at her, gentle and calmer now.

The women continue to chat happily about lighter topics as they hear the boys playing in Izuku’s room and Mitsuki's husband cooks lunch for the group of five.

“Lunch is ready ladies.” Masaru kisses Mitsuki’s temple softly when he walks over. He places his hands on her shoulders and massages her shoulders. The blond looks up at her husband and places a hand on his as she melts under his fingers and Inko stands.

“I’ll get the boys.” She heads to the room with an All Might sign with Izuku’s name on the door and knocks on it gently, “Boys, lunch is ready. Come eat.” The lively children run past her laughing as soon as the door swings open. The smaller blond chases her green haired son who’s giggling loudly. Both boys have an All Might action figure in their hands, making swooshes and booms as they run. “Wash your hands!” She calls out gently as she follows them down the hallway.

“You boys better listen to Inko.” Mitsuki scolds gently.

“Shut up hag!” The small blond calls back, likely not knowing what it means.

“Kacchan-” Izuku pulls Katsuki into the bathroom with a shriek so the boys can wash their hands, and get away from the loud mother.

“Katsuki fucking Bakugou!” The female blond yells as she stands, they’re already out of sight though. She huffs and sits again. Masaru is back in the kitchen making up the plates of food.

“You really need to stop cussing around Katsuki” Inko smiles gently as she walks into the dining room and leans on the edge of the table.

“Oh that won’t stop the brat. Plus that’s just how I am. This fucker can attest to that.” She gestures vaguely to her gentle husband, “And you’ve known me since fucking high school, you should know that too.” The woman grins at Inko as she takes her and Katsuki’s plate from her husband. Masaru hands Inko a plate for her and her son while sitting with his own plate. They wait for the boys who come barreling out of the bathroom giggling and pushing each other gently as they race to the table.

They take their seats beside their mothers, figurines still in their grasps. Everyone eats, talks and laughs at gentle topics

After lunch, the adults clean up, and the young boys race back to Izuku’s room, laughing like happy little 5 year olds. The 3 adults sit in the living room, chatting and laughing together.

Hours pass like this, gentle conversations that flow around the small trio like waves from the sea onto the beach of Dagobah. By 5:30 pm, the kids were still wholly occupied and the adults were still chatting, time getting away from them.

The rattle of keys in a lock was heard and the three looked at the door as a tall man with stark white hair, red eyes, freckles, and a suit steps in, setting down a bag on the hooks beside the door and his keys in a tray.

Inko stands with a smile, “well, well, well, look who’s finally home.” She drapes her arms over his shoulders as he smiles softly down at her.

“Hello my darling. How are you this evening?” His hands slide over her sides as he leans down to kiss her softly.

“Just fine. The Bakugous are here. Time got away from me so unfortunately, I don’t have dinner ready. Sorry…” she says almost pitifully, as she blinks up at him. Her husband knows that it’s hard for her to lose track of time and that she likely just didn’t stop the other pair from continuing the conversation so that he could cook for her. He smiles at her and kisses her forehead.

“It’s ok darling. You can keep chatting with Mitsuki, I can handle dinner tonight.” He says softly. Inko grins and kisses him before walking back to the living room as he watches her go with adoration. He changes into more comfortable clothes in their shared room, then heads into the kitchen to make dinner.

Masaru meets him there. “Need help?” The slightly younger man asks as he rolls up his sleeves. The elder smiles and hands him the vegetables to chop. They chat and sip beer while they cook, their wives laughing in the living room and their sons yelling and giggling in Izuku’s room.
Life sure is perfect, right?
