Summary
Mike Wheeler’s plan was supposed to work. He was supposed to distract Vecna for long-enough that his sister and everyone else could take him out. But somewhere along the lines, things started going wrong and Mike started to give up. Vecna didn’t win, but he didn’t lose either, not with how the ‘heart’ of the party has been comatose and how little they understand of what is truly going on.

Or, a reimagining of how season 4's ending and season 5 might've gone if Mike Wheeler had been the final victim in Vecna's plan, told through the music of Abba and through the perspective of many as they see the 'heart' of the Party resting in a hospital bed, unawaking.
