Bakugo, Ochaco’s amazing dog (who she pets)

Summary:

The class of 1-A has a reunion/halloween party at Bakugo’s agency when everyone is a pro hero. Uraraka is excited to reunite with everyone, but after getting some bad news she resorts to her special witch spells, alcohol. This drunken witch meets Bakugo dressed up as a werewolf, and things feel different than before.

Work Text:

Uraraka pulls at her black skirt, “isn’t this a bit much?”

“Not at all! I think you look amazing! Aren’t you excited to see everyone? Ribbit,” Tsu says as she pulls Uraraka in front of the full-body mirror.

Uraraka sees her Halloween costume: a puffy lacy skirt barely reaching her knees, an orange milkmaid top, a black corset, knee-high lace up boots, and a witch hat. She looks like a witch. A stylish witch.

“You look hot, roomie,” Tsu says.

“Thanks! Umm…you too!”

Tsu laughs, “Geez, thanks for the lie,” she gestures to her fluffy cat onesie, “I wasn’t going for hot. But it’s greatly appreciated!”

Uraraka feels embarrassment creepy up her face, she’s not great and taking compliments. “C’mon let’s go!!!” Tsu says as she drags along a tired witch with her.

The two roommates arrive at Bakugo’s agency just in time. His sidekicks are still running the business downstairs, but upstairs is where the party/reunion will be held. As they wait in the elevator Uraraka can’t help be feel excited. Yes, she’s seen most of them while working, but this is the first time everyone would be together! And in Bakugo’s agency! She wonders how Mina, the person in charge of the event, could ever convince him. “Ooooh. I’m so excited!!!” Tsu says, while shaking Uraraka, “who are you most excited to see? Don’t lie and say ‘all of them’ If it makes you feel better…” Tsu’s quiet for a bit, as if hesitant, until she shyly says, “I’m most excited to see Tokoyami.”

Now it’s Uraraka’s time to grab Tsu, “OooOoOooOooooh—You like him? You guys would look so cute together!! Okay, wha—“

Tsu covers Uraraka’s mouth with her hand, “I don’t know, I…like him, but I don’t know how he feels. Ribbit. Please don’t say anything,”

Uraraka was about to respond when the elevator doors open, “Let’s go Uraraka! I know you’re excited!!” She says as she drags the witch, yet again.

They walk into the party. The large area illuminated by dim purple and orange lights. “Hey, if it makes you feel better, I’m most excited to see Bakugo,” Uraraka whispers.

Tsu turns to her with her mouth open, “W-what?! Do you like him?!”

Uraraka blushes, “No!! Not at all! I just want to know if he’s changed, I mean he let us have the party here. And he’s #3 hero now. You know? I mean aren’t you a bit curious?”

“I guess, but I don’t really care. Ribbit—“

“OH MY GOD!! OCHACO AND TSU, YOU GUYS LOOK AMAZING!!!!” Uraraka turns to find Mina in a mermaid outfit.

“Thank you! You look amazing, Mina!!! I love the makeup!!”

“Awww thanks!” She says as she twirls, her shiny teal dress flowing behind her. “You should see Bakugo. He’s a werewolf! You need to see for yourself, it’s great!!“ She says while laughing, “Okay, I’m gonna go now. Most people are hanging out in the back, I think they’re playing games or something.”

As if on cue, Denki yells, “How come I’m broke?! Since when did Monopoly get so hard?!” the sound of the playful racket traveling all the way from the back.

“Hey, I’m gonna go see what everyone’s doing. Are you coming? Or are you getting food?” Tsu asks.

“Oh, don’t wait for me. I’ll go over there soon!” Uraraka responds.

Tsu does a thumbs up as she scurries away past the hall.

Surprisingly, the agency is extremely…homey. There’s chairs, tables with food and drinks, a TV. And apparently sofas in the back where everyone is. It reminds Uraraka of the 1-A dorm lounge. She smiles at the thought, it was such a long time ago when they were heroes-in-training. Now, all of them in their 20’s being pro hero’s. It’s a dream come true. She can provide for her parents now, and along the way she’s met her best friend Tsu. Another person also comes to mind—Bakugo.

Bakugo Katsuki.

Number three hero.

Hot head.

Prideful.

Grumpy.

He’s also determined. Dedicated. He helped motivate her to be better, at the start of her “hero learning journey” during the sports festival. Yes, it was a long time ago, but Uraraka can’t seem to forget it. Forget him. Even after years, she’s barely seen him but she thinks about him. She sees him on her TV. She sees him on merchandise. She sees him everywhere.

His smirk. His crazy red eyes. His spikily blonde hair. His thick—

She’s pulled out of her thoughts by her phone ringing. She answers to find Mom.

“Hey mom!! You okay?”

“Hi sweetie! Umm…don’t worry, but…”

“Mom. What’s happening?”

“Your dad had a heart attack,”

“…What?”

“He’s been on medicine, but I don’t know. We’re at the hospital. He’s going into surgery soon,”

“When did he have a heart problem? I could’ve helped pay for the care, I—“

“No, it’s okay, sweetie. We can pay, we don’t want you to use all your money. I just wanted to let you know.”

“Is it a big surgery? What’s happening?”

“I’m not sure. The doctors were rushing, and saying stuff. I’m sorry, sweetie. I’ll update you when I learn more.”

“Um…yea, okay. Love you, mom.”

The call cuts off. Uraraka puts her phone away with shaking hands. And grabs a drink.

Red plastic cup in hand, she looks out the window to calm down. “Your dad is fine. You didn’t fail him. He’s going to be okay. Take a deep breath,” she repeats the mantra to herself several times, but underneath that she hears her thoughts ringing in the background, “If you helped them. Pay medical bills. Pay for the doctor. Check in on them more. This never would’ve happened. It’s your fault.” She starts to shake, the liquid in the cup swishing around like her stomach. She needs to puke. Or cry. Or scream. She needs to go somewhere private.

Bakugo is putting the Monopoly away. Momo won, she probably had some secret strategy since the start. Everyone else started playing on Mina’s karaoke machine, right now Kirishima and Denki had some stupid duet. Everyone is cheering them on, or singing, or eating, or dancing, or being idiots. “Hey!! Kaachan!! Sing us a song!!” Izuku yells.

“Not a chance in hell, Jackass! I’m already letting you be here!!”

Everyone else starts booing, probably thanks to Mina, “Oi! Shut your traps!”

Bakugo leaves to get some food, he needs some peace. Even if he can still hear the chaos behind him. Maybe more people came. He hasn’t seen Uraraka yet. She’s the last person. Froppy said they came together, but no one has seen her. “Goddamit. I wanted to see Pink Cheeks” Bakugo thought to himself. What can he say? The girl had guts, and not the showy guts like Mina, the subtle ones that you have to think about. The girl was fiery, and he hasn’t seen her in a while. Sure, he’s looked her up and seen her on TV, but not in person. Did she change? She’s less buddy-buddy with Izuku, not in his shadow anymore, did that change her? The boy found himself smiling, thinking about the girl. He turns the corner to find…

Pink cheeks. Sitting on the ground. With some alcohol. Glaring at him.

Before Bakugo could process, he feels something hit his face. “Did you just throw food at me, Pink Cheeks?” He says calmly amused, feeling a subtle smile form on his face. No one had the guts to do that to him besides his mom, since…forever.

“I threw trash at you! You idiot!”

His smile deepens, wow. She’s waisted. This’ll be fun. “Why are you being mean to me, Pink Cheeks? Did I do something?”

She sighs, and takes another swing of her cup. “Noooo…not you,” she tries to stand up, but ends up falling down knocking her hat off. “You knocked off my hat!! You asshole, pick it up!”

“How about I pick you up, and give you some water?”

“Nooo, you idiot get me my hat!! I can’t be a witch without my hat,” she grabs her hair by the roots, massaging her scalp, “ughh, why is this happening?! Do I suck?”

Bakugo stands there, confused. He leans down to grab her hat, and tries to pull Uraraka up, “No. You don’t, now let’s get you some water, Sweet Cheeks,”

“Fine, BUT! Only if you let me pet you.”

He lets go of her, “What?”

She, now sitting up in her knees, looks up at him with a smile, “Yes, you’re a wolf. And wolves are dogs. And they’re soft. And I want to pet you. And if you don’t let me I’m going to stay here.”

“Y-you, w-what. Fine. God! Just get up,”

“I can’t,” she says defeated looking down, “can you help me?”

Bakugo grabs her hat, and pulls her up by her waist. He dead legs lie limply below her.

She grabs onto his shoulders loosely, and looks down to her feet, “Thank you,” she says quietly.

Bakugo smirks, he could see a blush forming on her face. “What was that, Pink Cheeks?”

She looks up, with a drunken glare that looks less threatening and more cute. With a straight face, her eyes staring into his soul, she says, “YOU LOOK LIKE SHIT, you jerkass. Jackass. Ass. Yea. Wolf-ass. Mhm.”

Bakugo looks at her, really looks at her. Her brown hair is tangled, her skin is flushed, her  lips are soft pink, her puffy skirt squished against him, her corset…framing her beautiful figure, and her soft flesh against his hands. He adjusts his grip on her waist, trying to ignore how perfect it feels. How perfect it feels to be close. To have her eyes on him. To feel her warmth. He pulls her over his shoulder, changing his grip so that one hand grabs her waist and the other her legs.

“What the fuck are you doing, you dog?!” She says as she kicks him and hits his back, his very strong, hard, sculpted back.

Bakugo can’t hold in his laugh, “I’m taking you to the bathroom, Sweet Cheeks,”

She stops fighting, he stops mid step.

“S-sweet cheeks?”

He tightens his hold on her, his hand of her thigh drifting up. “Shut up. You’re drunk, you don’t know what you’re saying,”

“Yes I do! I’m an amazing witch that knows everything, and you’re a dog,”

He would probably respond with anger if it were anybody else, but this is different. Her weight against him, her softness, her warmth, her sweet voice even if they’re insulting him, she’s different.

“A stupidly handsome dog. That’s hot. And strong,” she says quietly, so quiet he doesn’t know if he made it up. He hopes he didn’t, for some reason he wants her to like him.

He made it to his private office. It has the only other bathroom that isn’t occupied with a drunk Denki or a crying Mineta. He places her on the counter top, and leaves temporarily to grab some bottled water. He comes back to find her swinging her legs, her thick boots clicking against the counter, her body looking small and soft. No, those words aren’t right. Precious. Now in the brighter lights, he can tell how messed up she is. They’re stains on her orange top, her skirt is crooked, and her eyes…look a bit red. As if she’s been crying. And yet…she doesn’t look pathetic, like the others. She looks strong. She IS strong.

He comes up and hands her the water. She takes it greedily, “Can I have my hat?” She says once she finishes, not looking him in the eyes. He grabs her hat and places it on her head, his fingers slowly moving down into her brown locks. It’s so soft. She leans her head towards his hand, like a cat. The moment making his chest tighten with a foreign feeling. He reluctantly pulls his hand away, but not after he raises her chin so that she’s looking at him. With them so close, face to face, he can see…she’s definitely been crying. Bakugo was hit with a feeling of protectiveness. “Did someone hurt you, Sweet Cheeks?”

Her eyes widen, “Oh. No! Nothing happened! Why would you say that? I’m fine! Just a tiny bit drunk,”

He steps even closer, her legs widening without a second thought so he can step in between.

“Don’t give me that bullshit. What happened?” He says, in a soft tone.

Uraraka looks up at him, his intense eyes focused on her. His hands are on the counter on both sides of her, trapping her. Though she wouldn’t leave if she could. Mina wasn’t lying about his costume, he was a werewolf. He had ears pinned into his explosive blonde hair, a tail hooked into his black cargo pants, and a faux-fur…cape? Cloak? She doesn’t know,  but it leaves his front exposed, showing off a tight-fitted black skull shirt. God, he was fit in school but now…he’s so fucking hot. She can feel herself blushing. Now that he’s filled out he’s a literal beast.

“Can I pet you?” She says, already fidgeting with his fur cloak thingy.

“If you answer my question,” he says sternly.

She takes a deep breath, “But I don’t want to!!!! I just want to pet the fucking dog!!”

“By ‘the fucking dog’ you mean me? That’s so rude, Sweet Cheeks! You’re really hurting my feelings over here,”

“And you’re really annoying me!!!” She says pulling on his cloak. She ends up shaking him, or trying to at least, the guy is pure muscle.

Suddenly, her quirk activates, pulling them both over the counter. In a split second, Bakugo moves his hands to rest on the mirror behind her and the other to her waist, to prevent her from crashing into the wall. The new position causes them to be even closer. His body was pushing on hers, his weight on hers. Putting pressure on her abdomen that made her feel…fuzzy.

“There. You can pet the dog now. You happy?”

Uraraka finds her hands on his shoulders where his cloak is. She is finally petting him, she notices, as she moves her hands back and forth on the fake fur. It’s very soft. She moves her hand up, now cupping his head, and she pulls his head back…hard. Leaving his exposed neck right in front of her. The column of muscle highlighted when he swallows. He laughs, a rich genuine laugh, that rumbles through their bodies. “Is this how you treat all dogs, Sweet Cheeks?”

She smiles, “Just the ones who don’t give me space,”

He raises his eyebrow, and backs away. Back to their original position, With him standing between her legs and her sitting up on the counter, still very close.

“What about the ones who do? Do I get a prize?” He says, flexing his hands on her waist.

“What prize?” She says jokingly.

He looks at her in the eyes, the playfulness in them gone, replaced with concern, “I want to know what happened?”

That sobered her up. “Why?”

“Because…” he says quietly, as if trying to tell himself first, “I care for some reason. About you. And I don’t want to see you cry,”

She doesn’t look up to his face, scared that if she does she’ll cry. She focuses on his hair. She plays with the blonde strands. Trying to not think about the reason for her tears. Her dad. Her mom hasn’t told her anything. Do they not trust her? What if her dad dies? The business would probably go to one of his employees, not her. Not that she wants the company, she has a good life as a superhero. But she would’ve failed them. All she wanted was for them to be happy and healthy. That’s why she joined the business in the first place.

Bakugo doesn’t move. Uraraka’s fingers brushing his hair…it feels nice. Her soft fingers feel good on his neck, on his skin. His grip on her waist never wavered, as if trying to anchor her. He can sense the change in her, her fiery persona diluted with a bitter sadness. He doesn’t know the reason why, and it’s bothering him. No, it’s driving him mad. He can feel his jaw clenching at the thought, If someone hurt her…he’d kill them.

“My dad,” Uraraka says quietly, her words so soft, as if it was just a figment of imagination.

“What about the old man?” He says quietly, tightening his grip to remind her of his presence.

“He’s in surgery. Heart attack,” she says, her fingers stop twisting in his hair and fall down to his neck. “My mom didn’t even tell me he was sick. They didn’t want me to worry,” she lets out a bitter laugh, “They’re the reason I became a hero! I did all of this so they wouldn't have to struggle, and he’s lying on an operating table because they were still trying to protect me!”

She leans forward, resting her head on his shoulder. Her hat well forgotten.

“What if it’s too late? I failed them! I’m supposed to protect them, but I-I didn’t!!”

Bakugo can hear her words rumbling through him, each one getting closer to a sob. He doesn’t say empty statements, he doesn’t say it’ll be fine, he’s a realist after all. Instead, he grabs her face softly and pulls her to look at him, her brown chocolate eyes coated in a fresh layer of moisture

“You’re not a failure,” he says as he wipes her tears away with his thumb, “You’re strong. And this is out of your control,”

“Bu—“

“Ochaco. This. Is. Not. Your. Fault.”

Her first name falls out of his mouth, effortlessly. Naturally. Like it was meant to be said by him. His deep, husky voice saying her first name makes her heart flutter. Or better yet…explode. His words were final, protective.

“And if you need to go to the hospital I’ll fly you over there right now.”

The only sound was the background racket of the party, probably Kirishima and Mina doing something stupid. In the bathroom, the two were silent. Neither of them pull away, if anything they come closer. He touches her with a tenderness that contradicts everything she’s even known about him. Uraraka stares at him, his intense red eyes fixed right on her, “Why would you do that, Bakugo?”

“Like I said, for some reason this dog cares about you,” he says with a smirk.

She gives a soft smiles, “Dogs always love me,”

“Hmm…I guess that’s true. This dog also wants to leave the party,”

“Well, if it wasn’t for the party. You wouldn’t be a dog,”

“What would I be?”

“Umm…a furry,”

“…what?”

She laughs, a full genuine laugh with a smile. A beautiful smile that causes him to smile too, “You’re still really drunk,”

“Yea…Ooh!! And dogs always listen to me!”

He raises an eyebrow, “and how do you control them?”

Her smiles shifts, her eyes now shining with mischief. She leans forward, her mouth right at his ears, so close he can feel her warm breath, “They love the way I pet them.”

His breath hitches, he’s spent years training his body to not react, yet now…her sweet voice. Her warmth. Her lips grazing his ear. Her fingers weaving in and out of his hair. It’s intoxicating. “Is that so?” He says, as he leans down, his lips ghosting over her jaw.

“Mhm,” she purrs, “You wanna find out?”

He backs away, just enough to see her face. Her eyes still have the concern before, but now…there’s something more within those chocolate eyes. Something fiery. Something like the fire he’s had for her since they were sixteen. “You say the word, and we leave. We’ll go the hospital. We’ll go to my place. We’ll go wherever you want. But if you stay…” Her breath hitches, she leans forward, their lips almost touching, his grip on her tightens as he pulls her closer, “I’m going to need more than petting.”

Her parents aren’t on her mind, all she can think about is the man in front of her. Katsuki Bakugo. He drags one of his hands up, tangling it into her hair. He pulls her up, finally closing the gap between them. It’s everything but gentle. It’s hungry. Desperate. Explosive. She gasps into his mouth, and he takes that as an invitation. Her hands drift lower grabbing onto his black top like it’s the only thing keeping her tethered. She pulls him flush against her, the height of the counter having them chest to chest. The sensation of his muscle against her softness makes her head spin. He’s all she can feel. He’s everywhere. He groans, a low vibration that travels all the way to her core. He lowers his head, his lips marking a path down her throat. He finds the sweet spot behind her ear and sucks, the foreign feeling causes her to moan. Her new sound was music to his ears, he needed to hear more of it. He begins to lick the column of her neck, nipping in between breaths. Her hands move back up, tugging on his blonde strands. She fidgets with his fake ears, in the process pulling him up till they’re face to face. He learns his forehead against hers, his face a mix of desire and concern, “Ochaco, I’m serious. If you need to go the hospital I can blast us there in five minu—“

“Oh my god! Shut up!!”

She pulls him down, their kiss just as violent as the last. She can feel his smile against her lips. She bites his bottom lip, causing him to groan. “Ohh, Ochaco,” he says with a laugh, as he resumes his past position at her neck. “You smell so good,”

She hums in response, “Oh. Does the dog like how I smell?”

“You have no id—“

“YO!!!! Bakugo!!! You in here!!!!”

Bakugo freezes. He can feel Ochaco freeze under him. The only sounds they can hear are the people outside the bathroom door and their own mingled breaths.

“Did you think we wouldn’t notice?! We’re not idiots!! Come on, man!!” They could identify the voice was Kirishima, but more people came with him.

“Has anyone seen Ochaco?” That was Tsu.

“No, I don’t think so,” that voice was Momo.

“Do you think they’re together?”

“Maybe?”

“I mean we’re not getting yelled at for being in his office, which means he’s not here, right?” That question was Denki.

“Holy shit! If those two are hooking up, at my party I’m going to kick them out!!” That was obviously Mina.

There was collective “ew’s” or “no’s” and Bakugo thinks he heard an “I knew it!” Among the reaction.

He turns back to Ochaco, who’s covering her mouth with her hands, her eyes wide with surprise. He comes close to her, whispering in her ear, “Do you want to come out or stay here?”

“I-I don’t want to deal with them right now,” she says shyly.

“Hm…okay, do you want me to come out and yell at them, or do you want to just be quiet for a bit until they leave?”

There’s a moment of quiet, until she leans across the counter to turn off the light switch. Now in the dark she whispers, “Can we stay? They don’t have to know we’re here.”

He smiles against her, and he knows she’s smiling too, “Okay, Sweet Cheeks,”

From outside the dark bathroom they can hear the rest of the group.

“What if they already left?” Todoroki says.

“Yes! We shouldn’t bother them if they left by themselves accordingly,” Tenya states.

“What if they left together?” Deku says, “There could’ve been some superhero issue,”

“What! No, Deku. They either left together, or left separately, for personal reasons, or they’re here!” Mina says enthusiastically.

“Ooh! What if we try to find them!! Like a game!! A scavenger hunt!!” Hagakure suggests.

“Oooh—wait how do we know they’re here?”

“Umm…I don’t know, just for fun?”

“Bet!! I’m going to find them before everyone else! Kirishima let’s go!!” Denki yells, as he walks away (or what Bakugo assumes is walk away).

“Wait we can be in partners?” Momo says.

“Sure why not!! Mina you want to work together?” Hagakure says.

After more partnerships and groups are made, Bakugo and Uraraka are left alone. She laughs quietly, “Do you want to be my partner?” She says.

“Yea, let’s kill them all,” he responds.

She playfully whacks him, “How come they didn’t come into the bathroom?”

“It’s a hidden door,”

“Why? Is this room special to you?”

“No, there’s just a lot of hidden explosives.”

“…You fucking psycho, why would you do that?”

“Geez, don’t worry about me, Sweet Cheeks. They’re just prototypes, don’t panic. Your favorite dog is safe,”

She giggles, “Do you think they’re gonna find us, Bakugo?”

“It doesn’t matter. We have plenty of time. Let them play.”

They fall into another silence, except this time it’s more…intimate. She fidgets with his hair again, rubbing the soft strands back and forth. She scoots forward, her legs widening, her skirt now halfway up her thighs. They’re so close, they’re lips almost meeting again but not quite, “Katsuki,” she sighs, wanting him to kiss her again. She can feel one of his hands moving up her body, over her skirt, her corset, her shirt, until he grabs her hand and holds it. The intimacy of it…feels nice. He interlocks their fingers and places them on the counter. While his other continues its steady grip on her hip. “I love it when you say my name,” he says quietly, almost shyly.

They lean into each other, slowly, as if scared the other would run away. This kiss wasn’t like the others. It’s soft. It’s sweet. It isn’t rushed. It’s gentle. It feels safe. Her free hand comes to cradle his head, while the other tightens its grip on his hand. “Katsuki,” she says softly in between kisses. He squeezes their intertwined hands. He breaks apart their kiss, only to come back down to taste her further. When they finally break apart, Katsuki pulls her hand up and kisses her knuckles.

“Katsuki,” she says quietly.

He releases her hands, the lack of her heat makes him feel cold, “yea?” He says, it’s eyes burrowing with concern.

“Why are you nice to me?”

“I told you. Because I like you.”

“Why do you like me?”

He pauses for a bit, “Because. Sweet Cheeks, you’re tough.”

She scoffs, “Everyone here is tough, Bakugo.”

He grabs her chin, his intense eyes now narrow, “Call my by my first name, Ochaco,”

“Why?”

“Because I said so,”

“Why? Why me?”

“Ochaco. Stop it.”

“No. Why do you let me, the most pathetic of us all, treat you like a dog?!”

His red eyes fill with anger, but he stays silent.

“Please. Please answer me, Katsuki,”

“Stop, Sweet Cheeks,” he says quietly.

“No. I’m sorry, but I need to—“

“Because you’re the one person I feel something with! You’re strong. You’re powerful. You don’t give up. You make me feel happy. You make me feel mad. You make me feel worried. You make me fucking feel, Ochako! And it hurts me to see you sad, because I can’t imagine a world without your brightness! Okay! Is that a good enough answer for you?”

She stays silent. He raises an eyebrow, “You’re not even going to respond to what I said? Did you even process it?”

“You make me feel too,” she says quickly, “You make me feel real joy. Real achievement. Like a real hero. You make me feel real.”

She says, her voice trembling towards the end. He gently grabs her hands in his, “Does this mean…I’m your favorite dog?”

She giggles, “Yes, you fucking idiot!”

Katsuki smiles, a full, genuine smile. “So…does that mean I’m your good boy?”

She makes herself float, and kisses him on the nose, “Only if you’d like,” she says with a grin. “Oh shit, I should not float when I’ve been drinking. I’m gonna—“

Katsuki’s lovely witch pukes in his sink. He pulls her hair up and pats her back. “Let it out, Sweet Cheeks. Let it out. Good job.”

Ochaco ended up puking in the sink and on her clothes. Her amazingly loyal dog pulled her hair up and gave her mouthwash. Her shirt became gross, so Katsuki gave her his. Now, ten minutes later, Katsuki is sitting on the bathroom ground next to a sleeping witch. Who’s wearing his shirt. He’s now shirtless, and responsible for both of them.

Ochaco wakes up to a weirdly furry blanket. Her pillow is hard, but it’s warm. And her bed is really cold. She sits up, only to find herself to be dizzy. On the bathroom counter she finds aspirin and a bottled water. She takes both and turns around to find, Bakugo? On the floor? Wait why is she—ohh. Oh. She remembers. She blushes at the thoughts: the kisses, the petting, the butterflies, the crying, and…her dad. She checks her phone and finds messages from her mom.

10:48pm-Mom: Dad had a big surgery (forgot what it’s called) the doctors didn’t seem worried though they said “you came at a good time” so that’s good!

4:12am-Mom: everything went well!! and now he’s awake! Well he just fell asleep, but like he’s in the clear I think

5:57am-Mom: Okay he’ll be discharged in 2-3 days, but he’s awake!! Don’t worry, we love you very much.

The weight she didn’t know she had lifted off her shoulders. She returns to her “bed” and by bed the bathroom floor of Katsuki’s agency, his shirt, and his lap. She looks up at him. He looks so peaceful. And really hot shirtless, but she gives him the cloak, such a shame to cover that up. He needs heat though, and rest. Who knows when he fell asleep. She smiles, he still has his ears on. “You make me feel, Ochaco” his words echoing her head. They give her a fuzzy feeling, a REAL feeling. Who would’ve guessed? Katsuki Bakugo. Her “favorite dog.” She thinks about last night, the kissing. The petting. The touching. Each of her thoughts get more intense than the last, “stop it, Ochaco!” She tells herself, feeling her cheeks getting warm. Pink Cheeks. Sweet Cheeks. She used to get offended by that nickname but now…it makes her smile. A lot about Katsuki makes her smile now. She sits up and touches his hair, which is just as soft as she remembers. He groans and shifts, leaning his head into her hand. “Oh, Ochaco,” he mumbles in his sleep. She slowly pulls him down, now having him rest on her lap. He looks so…lovable.

She takes out his pinned ears, they didn’t look comfortable, and brushes his hair out of his face. He mumbled something again but she doesn’t hear it. He shifts again and opens his eyes, “morning,” he groans into her lap. “When did you wake up?” He says while sitting up, rubbing his eyes adorably.

“Umm…A few minutes ago. Here! let me get you some water,” she says as she stands up.

He abruptly grabs her hips and pulls her down, having her straddle him.  He wraps his arms around her middle and rests his head on her shoulder, “No. Don’t go,”

Ochaco sits there frozen, “I-I’m not going anywhere.”

“Okay.” He says, his arms tightening around her. He inhales, breathing in her hair, and says quietly, “You better not.”

She raises an eyebrow, even though he can’t see her face, “Why not?”

He sighs into her skin, the thin material of his shirt not doing a thing to lessen the sensation. “Because. I want you to stay.”

She opens her mouth, then closes it, trying to decided what she should say, “Do you want me to stay right now, or in general?”

He doesn’t speak. Did she ruin the moment? Was she unclear? Why was he taking long to answer? Does he not want her to stay? She…sort of assumed that they’d continue…their thing after last night, but did he feel the same way? Or was this a one night thing for him? Was he drunk too? She doesn’t remember him being drunk, was he lying about the “make me feel” thing? He wouldn’t do that. Was he mocking her? What if—

He pulls his head away from her, so that they’re face to face. His face subtly softened by the tiredness in his eyes, “What you do mean by that?”

She blushes and looks down, trying to avoid his eyes. She focuses on her shirt and corset, folded in the corner. He was sweet enough to fold them neatly.

“Like do you just want to spend time with me now, and never do it again. And forget about me. Or do you…like do you want to continue what ever…um you and I are. Whatever we are. But! I mean if you don’t care about that and want to put it in our past I completely understand li—“

He grabs her softly by her cheek, and turns her to him. “Ochaco, did you process what I said last night? I was being serious. About how I feel.” he wipes his thumb along the apple of her cheek, “I want you. I want to be with you. I want whatever you’d give me. Do you understand?”

Katsuki feels like time stopped. Will she say yes? Does she like him too? He’s never this vulnerable, he has to be strong. Emotionless. But with her…Ochaco is special. Hopefully, he’s special to her.

“Yes. And…I like you too. A lot.” She smiles,

“And I’d like to be with you,”

Katsuki smiles, his heart feeling weightless. This girl…she’s turning his world upside down. Ochaco Uraraka. Number fourteen hero. Beautiful. Strong. Fiery. His.

“I’m glad, Sweet Cheeks,”

“I’m happy, Dog.”

He laughs, “If you’re going that way…I am filled with glee, my drunken witch,” he says with a smirk, lacking the anger he typically has.

“I’m…over the moon Katsuki,”

They look at each other, the silence intimate like before, but it’s more sure. It’s more hopeful. It’s more real.

“I should really go now, Katsuki,”

He sighs, “Yea, me too. Let me fly you home,” His eyebrows crinkle with concern, “or the hospital?”

“No. My dad’s okay. I’m going home.”

“That’s good. Do you want me to fly you?”

“No. I need to get groceries anyway. To bribe Tsu,”

He nods, “I’ll walk with you,”

Ochaco pulls at her black skirt, “Thank you, Katsuki,” she says outside her apartment door. She looks at the man in front of her, wearing his hero costume so she can wear his shirt. Holding her groceries in one bag and her dirty clothes in another. He looks scary in his costume, but his eyes have a detail softness that makes her feel safe. He hands them to her gently, “See you later, Sweet Cheeks,”

She smiles, “See you later, Katsuki,”
