Alex is so tired. Unbearably tired.
Bone-deep, eyes heavy and full of exhaustion, the world resting without him as ears strain to hear any noise, faintly catching Loky snoring down the hall with the gentle ticks of his clock echoing throughout the house in-between. He has tried every conceivable method at this point, every position, back, front, flipping his pillows to the cold side, white noise, no noise. Even though his body screams for rest and sleep, his brain screaming that he's so, so busy tomorrow and that he's so, so tired, it just wouldn't come and release him.
