Jason POV
“Hey Thals!” I call across the field to my sister.
“Hey Jase, how’s it going?” she replied, still shooting arrows at targets.
“Well, you know how you said you wish you were there for my childhood and wish you knew me better?”
“Yeah?” Thalia lowered her bow and turned to me.
“So I talked to Chiron and he said that he’d allow us to leave camp for a little bit for “sibling bonding time”. So what do you think? Wanna bond?” I ask, laughing a little.
“Heck yeah I do! I really do want to get to know you better seeing how Hera basically stole you from me.” Thalia replied.
“Great. Meet me by your tree at 9 tomorrow, Lightning McQueen.” Then ran off before she could run me through with her spear.
Time skip to tomorrow in honor of Zoe and Bianca
I was waiting at the border looking at my watch. It was 9:15 and Thalia still hadn't shown up. I sighed and was about to head to Piper’s Cabin when someone tapped my shoulder.
“Boo!”
I jumped five feet in the air and screamed like a girl until I realized that it was just my sister.
“Hey! That wasn’t nice!” I pouted.
“No but it was funny!” Thalia managed to say while laughing on the ground.
“Let’s go.” I mumbled and took off down the hill out of camp's borders.
“So what are we going to do today?”
“I was thinking that we should go get some ice cream, I’ve never had some and I want to try it. Then maybe walk around Central Park.”
“That sounds fun, and I have two questions.”
“Shoot.”
“Number one, how are we going to get from here to Manhattan?”
“Nico’s going to Shadow Travel us there.”
“Great, number two. YOU’VE NEVER HAD ICE CREAM???”
Another time skip cuz I don’t have creativity installed in me😔
“This is good. Vanilla is my new favorite flavor.” I said with my mouth full of ice cream.
“Yeah it is.” Thalia said. She had Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream.(raise your hand if you like that flavor🙋)
We were walking around Central Park, eating the ice cream we got from a small Ice Cream shop.
“Let’s play a game. I ask a question, and you answer it truthfully." I said
“That’s an interrogation.” she shot back.
“Yup! First, what made you want to be a Hunter of Artemis?"
“You know about the Great Prophecy? The one that started the second Titan War?”
“Yeah.” I replied, not knowing what that had to do with it.
“Well it could’ve been about me instead of Percy. I decided I didn’t want the burden of the prophecy and became a Hunter the day before my 16th birthday.”
“Wow.”
“Yeah.”
“What’s your greatest fear and how many people know about it?”
“Really? You had to ask that question?”
“Yes I did.” I smirked.
“Ok, you don’t get to judge me on this.”
“Why would I?”
“I’m afraid of heights." she admitted.
“Pfft-” I tried not to laugh at my sister, a daughter of Zeus, who was afraid of heights.
“Who else knows?”
“You and… Percy.” Now I stared at her, shocked.
“Percy?”
“Yeah, he kinda guessed it when we were trying to save Artemis and Annabeth from Atlas.”
“Dam”
“My turn to ask you something. Which do you prefer more, a spear or a sword?”
“Definitely a sword. I find it easier to wield than a spear.”
We went on like that for a little bit until I suddenly had an idea.
“Hey Thalia, would you like to get your hair dyed?”
“What do you mean?”
“What if you dyed your hair blond and curled it? It wouldn’t be permanent.”
“No, I like my hair.”
“Please?” I used my puppy dog eyes while kneeling in front of her.
She caved after about ten seconds.
“Fine, but never use your puppy dog eyes to get anything from me ever again.”
“Yesss! I’ll call Piper!”
“YOu’re going to let your girlfriend dye my hair?”
“Uh duh, who else would I ask?”
We called Nico to come pick us up, Leo had invented “monster proof phones” so they couldn’t track us, and walked to the Aphrodite cabin.
“Hey Piper! Can you dye and curl Thalia’s hair?
“Sure!”
We sat there talking for about an hour as Piper washed, dyed, washed, dried, and curled her hair.
“All done! Take a look!”
Thalia stood up and looked in the mirror. She touched the hair and looked at herself.
“It’s actually… not that bad. I like it.”
“Yay! Now we actually look like siblings!”
“Jason, you are a golden retriever in human form.”
“I know.” I said smugly.
“Thanks Piper.”
“Always willing to help.”
Once we left her cabin we headed over to Zeus’s cabin.
“Wanna watch a movie?”
“Sure, but only if it’s Hercules so I can laugh at the fact that the entire movie is wrong on so many levels.”
“Course.”
We gathered some snacks and sat down on the couch we have in the cabin to watch Hercules. We got comfy as the movie started.
We sat there in a comfortable silence until the end of the movie.
“I had fun today.” Thalia said.
“Me too, we should do that again soon.”
“Yeah maybe next time the Hunters visit CJ, so we can explore California.”
“Sounds good.”
“Love you lil’ bro.”
“Love ya too, sis.”
And with that we drifted off to sleep.
