"What... is this place?"
After all of the non-sense of TPOT, Lollipop didn't travel much, instead choosing to stick with her friends. Even then, when they wanted to go on an adventure, she didn't want to hold them back, and was very willing to go with them. David, apparently, knew of a place none of them had seen before, and he was right. Yellow-green plains stretched for miles on end, with a beautiful lake, and volcano in the background. This place would be amazing, a place that Lollipop herself would be willing to live in forever, if it weren't for the terrifying mass of land off the shore.
"Aw, aw seriously!" David said, running off.
Looking up from what she was doing, someone who looked fairly similar to Flower looked up, "Oh, hey David. Long time, no see!"
"ROSE?!" Flower yelled, pushing to the front of the group, "Is this where you've been all this time?!"
"Flower?" Rose replied, looking at her twin.
Flower gasped, and ran straight to her twin, "I MISSED YOU!"
Lollipop watched Flower tackle Rose to the ground (in a very twin kind of way), and just... looked. Flower was already pretty, but Rose was... beautiful. Everyone slowly dispersed to do their own thing, meeting the objects of this land, some even looking towards the creepy landmass. Lollipop joined Flower in hanging out with Rose, but most everything went in one ear and out the other. She couldn't stop staring at Rose. Rose was so beautiful, she practically had Lollipop in a headlock.
Sure, Lollipop thought Flower was pretty. But it was never in the kind of way she felt looking at Rose. A tightness in her chest, a warmth in her cheeks, butterflies in her stomach. Maybe she had once felt that for Flower, but it was so long ago if so. Besides, if there was anyone Flower had feelings for, it'd be Ruby. Not that Lollipop didn't have a chance, but Lollipop wasn't who Flower was looking for like that. Ruby, meanwhile, was. Lollipop was fine with that, of course, but still.
After a while, they got onto an interesting topic of conversation, with Rose talking about her experiences, "Oh, yeah, it wasn't just BFDIE I competed in."
"Really? What else was there?" Lollipop asked.
"Well, there were these mini series I took part in!" Rose explained, "The first and second one. It's currently in its, what, 9th season?"
Flower blinked, "Wow! Have you kept up with it after the second one?"
"Yep. I actually won the second season, but I kinda... share the prize with everyone from that season," Rose admitted.
"That's surprising," Flower mumbled, "Last I remembered, you would have kept it completely to yourself."
Rose sighed, "BFDIE taught me... a lot, really. I severed my closest friendship just because I wanted to win, but when I realized what I really did, I softened up."
"Reminds me of... actually, quite a few objects I know," Lollipop chuckled, catching a glimpse of Rose's eyes, "but that's not important."
The three girls continued to hang out, talking about everything and nothing, until the stars started to shimmer from above. Even from here, you could see the twin blue stars in the sky, which Flower always loved to talk about how they seem to always be watching. Lollipop wondered if they were watching her, not just everyone. Maybe they could only see specific things, maybe they could see all. Flower never knew, and neither did Lollipop. In fact, it seemed like no one knew what was up with the twin blue stars. Rose called them pretty, and would point out other things in the night sky.
Lollipop, meanwhile, simply enjoyed the time with the beautiful girl next to her, feeling the way her heart pounded in nervousness. And when she fell asleep, she dreamed about being in a relationship with Rose. Flower's twin. The girl she never knew existed until today, but felt perfect in her life.
