Summary
Louis was confused and jealous, Sherlock excited and curious, but what they shared was that they both waited impatiently for another meeting.
“I have been thinking about your… offer.” Louis swallowed hard. No matter how he tried, he struggled to find the right words. Sherlock looked at him with polite interest, which seemed nothing more than mockery, but Louis did not care. Everything the other did or said would have angered him regardless, yet he had to remain capable of thinking rationally. “I do not object to… entering into a somewhat more intimate acquaintance with you. Only the two of us, without my brother,” he stated firmly, and felt himself blush. He hated every moment of it.
“If I understand you correctly, I would have been quite surprised had you wished to involve Liam in this as well.” Sherlock took a calm sip of his coffee, yet his gaze remained on Louis’s face, who flushed even more from indignation.
“Never, and do not even think of it! My brother is not—”
“He is not…?”
“He is nothing that has any place in this conversation, and I very much hope you will refrain from bringing him up again in the future.”
