   Summary

   Kerry’s mansion gets broken into by some lowlife merc. Apparently hired to steal back a guitar that was stolen and returned months ago. He’d try to wrap his head around the situation if he wasn’t so livid. Or drunk. Instead, he has the bright idea to confront Rogue about ‘her people’ needing to leave him be. At the Afterlife. Kerry never claimed to be a smart man. This decision ultimately puts him on the path to meeting Heywood’s very own Marigold, V. Not that he knows who V is. Or what V has done. Or that V had his dead best friend as a brain parasite.

   An AU in which V never met Kerry during the events of Cyberpunk 2077. V is a bit older at 37. V is also a cocky bastard. Why wouldn’t he be? I’d like to think he deserves it. Set sic months after (Don’t) Fear The Reaper.
