Chapter Text
It had been months already since the end of the Preeminent region of fueless horrors and Morro joining the Ninja's side. Admittedly a odd thing but out of all odds, he got along with most of the team (excluding Kai and Zane).
The one in the most confusing section belongs to Nya, the water ninja, who doesn't hate him yet wouldn't be enough to fit in the friends criteria.
Though he knew his place well, which is that he wouldn't be accepted by the others, and he honestly didn't feel like he belonged to this group or even wanted to exist in the mortal realm, with a body of his own.
Cole was the friendliest of them all, though Cole kept his caution aside, he knows he hasn't fully,; and will attack him if possible, or needed.
Jay was idioticly likeable. Though they didn't talk much, he knows Jay does does not hate him yet not enough to become friends.
Zane, a nindroid. He didn't know how to communicate or simply talk to him because of how indifferent he is and never having the opportunity. It looks likes he's avoiding him, aswell.
Second to last, there's Kai. In all truthfulness, they despises eachother with undying hatred but Kai hates him more; amd he's more justified. He couldn't blame him anyways.
Lastly, Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon. He was quite strange compared to the others, by actively trying to befriend him. Eventhough he broke him the most, he never seems to hate him; just fear and dreadful anxiety.
Everytime he (Lloyd) spoke to him, he already can tell his fear and panic rising inside of him. The pain he caused to him was unrepairable; it felt forced but he knows he's somehow willingly trying.

Morro never spoke much. He just simply stayed in the monastery doing nothing important, like reading, and cooking when the time was rushed. Like a child or a caretaker actively living in their home.
At the creak of the night, he would sneak out (using his wind to silence the noise) and train; rest. Noone caught him at all for quite a long time, until tonight.
Lloyd had another unbearable nightmare, full of his past enemies: Lord Garmadon, Pythor, endless serpentines, Master Chen, The Overlord and lastly Morro. He didn't know why the ghost of him was tormenting him so much in his dreams, even when he's currently not (still) scared of him.
It was suffocating him alive, so much that he felt unreal to still exist. With each object being touchless for mere seconds from his touch.
The moon lit his room with a starlight haze, he couldn't really sleep; energised with numbness and the inability to sweetly rest. He escaped the indoors and to the outside, with the wind flowed joyous at each sway.
Each step was like a silent daze into a closer completion to happiness, atlas. Drifting to where the wind moved, a lively spiral to the center of the courtyard.
It was so peaceful till he heard a whisper from somewhere up. It was inaudible until another one came, familiar yet unidentifible.
“What are you doing here?” He heard a noise being pushed out of someone's throat. Confused yet steady.
He looked to the roof in the right, where a figure was sat on. It had vivid colors because of the lighting but he could now recognise the anonymous person; just from the fluid green streak.
“Morro?” He heard his voice crack but didn't bother.
Now the identified person leapt from the roof of the the monastery with perfect silence and landed infront of the Green Ninja, who's flattered.
“What are you doing here?” He exhaled it out.
“Why, I should be asking you.” he continued, “I come out every night but I've never seen you out.” the wind master questioned.
“This is my first time,” He answered, “I think I'll stay here abit.” then he saw a glint of guilt in his eyes, duller than Kai’s dyed grey hair.
Then he simply speedwalked away. Walking to the edge of the courtyard till he airjitsued to the roof.
Lloyd stared up to him, “Hey can you teach me airjitsu?” pointing at him like a toddler.
He saw the reluctance in him, though he said yes afterwards. Falling from the red bricks and landing on the ground.
He began teaching Lloyd, “I'm not really an expert, but the pose should be a strong stance. Not as in defence but balance, thats enough.”
“Then, try to find any remains of calmness in you. If can, embrace it. A feeling if weightlessness should come.”
“It only last shortly, leap from any surface and gravity should magically weaken. Spinjitsu perfectly so the airjitsu doesn't propelled itself elsewhere.”
Lloyd followed each simplified instruction thoroughly: creathe a balanced stance, find calmness and embrace it, jump, and spinjitsu for last. He followed everything yet he failed at where he needed to be calm.
“Try easing your body, relaxing it and putting more concentration.” Morro advised, “It's not as high or strong, yet enough.”.
Lloyd focused once more. This time easing his body, not his mind, then he swiftly jumped and spinjitsued; floating with air wrapped around him. And he landed on the roof of the monastery.
“Thanks!” Lloyd relaxed, resuming to his normal sitting position; followed by Morro coming up and standing nearby.
“Can I do something real quick.” Morro asked, though it sounded like a statement.
“Yeh?”
“There's spirts inside of you, they may eat you alive unless you do an exorcism to remove them.” Morro spoiled.
Lloyd's mouth opened, wide, as his jaw fell as low as it could. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN.” Lloyd screamed.
“It's the Preeminent that has cursed you; trying to drag you down, to torture, with her. I apologise, I just realised.” Morro mildly answered.
“DOES ZAPPING HELP!!?” Lloyd screamed aloud.
“Be quiet, or we'll be caught. Nevermore, I think It'll help “ Morro shushed.
Then they heard arriving footsteps entering the training grounds: multiple, heavy and familiar.
Fuck. – They both mumbled
