It takes a moment to adjust to being back home.
You’re caught between the urge to redecorate your room and the desire to keep it just as it was. The easiest choice is curling up on your lilac, ruffled bedspread, drifting off on sheets patterned with tiny bees and wildflowers.
But you're an adult now, leaving your childhood room as a living memory just feels right.
You have a job. You work to keep people happy and healthy. You know what you like now and how it feels to live independently. It's something you can't just break.
In the end, Izuku is the one to recommend that you just move to the room across the hall. It's a big house, you have the room for it.
It feels awkward clearing out the old things your parents kept from when you were younger, likely saved with the intention of passing them on to other children.
It didn't happen that way.
