Chapter Text
The lonely wooden cabin deep within a seemingly endless forest was always quite... Chaotic. So to say. I mean what do you expect when the entire cabin is filled with highly unstable killers?
That day had started no different. Like the young red child running around with almost endless energy while throwing bricks around like balloons a weird combination of innocent nativity and violence.
Not that far away a masked god watched the child with distain from within the living room. "That cursed child will never quiet down will it?" The god spat. There was some history between the two but the young child didn't remember and the god was not one to share such stories so all the others had were guesses. A monstrous being clad in black stood in the kitchen and staring at the chicken they were having for dinner with more hatred than one man could contain. It broke away from the fried chicken to look at the god. "Like you're much better. I swear if I have to listen to you ramble your mouth of about 'the good old times' one more time I'm going to behead someone." The being replied reaching for the swords attached to their hips. "Uh-huh. You know maybe the reason you're creator left you was because of that Ill temper 1x." The god was not in a good mood. Maybe if he was he would have laughed or said some witty comment instead of saying such a thing.
The being barely held back their anger but knew not to waste their time on a god that only found amusement in their endless anger. Instead they refocused on the fried chicken Infront of them.
"Who the f**k ordered fried chicken for dinner?!" The monstrous being, a being of hatred, shouted after finally deciding to reingage in a conversation.
Another monster, Azure was his name, entered the room that housed living room and kitchen. "C00lkidd wanted take out and no one can stand that child's whining so we indulged him. Don't tell me this one bucket of chicken is such a great offence to a being such as yourself 1x." The monster sighed sitting down at the kitchen island and supporting his head on one hand while the other took a piece of the offending chicken and threw another piece in the direction of the god.
"Why do we even get take out in the first place? Who even delivers to this place or did someone actually managed to sneak out to get fried chicken of all things?" They were so done with this. Noli didn't answer neither did Azure instead Noli threw the chickens bone at the child which only made it giggle as it ran over to 'play'.
Noli had teleported away and Azure also took their leave. Neither of which wanted to play with the child at the moment so that left the being alone with a way to existed child. They decided to indulge it for a little deeming it a well enough distraction to pass the time. So when the child tucked at their arm and ran out into the forest with a giggle they followed.
And then they fell through the ground.
This was unexpected as no round of this killing game they were forced to play was scheduled for today. Well they did need something to let their never ending hatred out on so they truly didn't mind. Even if it did start to bore them.
Except they didn't spawn into a new round.
They spawned in the trees outside of a town. No it was too small for a town a city maybe? It seemed pretty big with a lot of players. Had they been freed? Released back into the world of Robloxia after all this time? No. No this wasn't Robloxia. Where were they? Robloxia was a very diverse place but no server would usually hold this many players. Also this ...place didn't hold a code. How could a server function without a code?
Oh well, more lambs for a slaughter. They truly didn't care too much about who was on the other side of their violence. If it was robloxians or not If they billed that should be satisfactory for the Spectre so they could be teleported back into the wooden cabin.
They reached for their swords.
They took on a more isolated village near the town to slaughter. A city might be bigger but a city also came with admins or something equivalent considering this wasn't a usual server if a server at all. As they whipped the blood of their swords they noticed something strange.
They looked down at their hands and noticed something quite..paculiar. They looked different. Their black complection was replaced with that of very dark brownish skin with sharp black nails. They still had their usual pale white hair bound in a high ponytail and they still wore their casual outfit of black jeans and a white shirt paired with black fingerless gloves. They also looked younger, 15 at most.
Now this was highly unusual. For the Spectre to change their form like this? Something was up.
Was this another game of the Spectre? It would be in its nature.
But they could barely feel the Spectres influence. They could feel it clawing at the backside of their head. But.. it couldn't reach them. Were they truly free? Had they lost the one family they had finally found ?
"What kind of game is this now?" They really weren't in the mood for this. They never were but particularly not today. Today had been a good alright day. The games were boring them slowly sure but they enjoyed the time they spent with the other killers. It can't take this from them too. Not this. They forced open the code of this server, this world. At first it didn't seem to exist but 1x knew the code of world's better than most.
...
They had been forced here by something. They didn't know what yet. But whatever it was knew they would do this and left them a message.
'I want you to play a part for me. If you complete this performance I will bring you back. If you will still want to by then.'
The being remained silent for a minute. They didn't really want to play in some performance. In fact they hated it just as they did many other things. But truly what other choice did they have? Saying no to a being with such power wasn't an option at the moment. Their only option was to play along for now and figure out how to get back home. The unknown creature had left them a few clues on how to start their performance saying 'they'll know what to do on their own'. Their only clue? 'Head into the city and inform yourself on their culture. Chose the side you'd never chose.'
So they prepared for the worst as they headed into the city to begin their 'peformance'.
