XO, KITTY SLEEPOVER !

Summary:

Kitty threw a sleepover for all her friends before their break—a little celebration of how far they’d come, especially after everything they’d been through.

Work Text:

After Kitty’s 18th birthday, the group decided to squeeze in one last sleepover before the break.

Hosted by Kitty, obviously.

She couldn’t help herself—everything had to be just right. Snacks lined up, blankets folded, playlists queued. She had her roomies—Yuri, Juliana, and Praveena—helping her pull it all together.

And Min-Ho.

Her boyfriend.

Things between them had settled into something softer now .. closer, healthier—after everything that went down before.

He’d even decided he wanted to follow her to New York City for the break. Whatever came next, he wanted to be part of it.

Not SOS911.

Not his father’s path.

Just him.

“Okaaayy… snacks, music, comfort…” Kitty muttered under her breath, pacing slightly as she mentally checked everything off again.

“Kitty, please, don’t stress yourself out over this,” Yuri sighed, dropping onto the couch beside Juliana like she’d already given up on calming her down.

“Yuri’s right—it’s gonna be fun.” Min-Ho stepped in, pulling Kitty gently into his side, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

Kitty’s lips pressed into a thin line, but she nodded anyway.

Her heart skipped—just a little—at the simple gesture.

“You guys are right… we have everything we need.” She broke into that bright, familiar smile, the one that always seemed to light up the room.

And then—

A knock at the door.

Kitty let out a high-pitched squeal, shooting Min-Ho a quick look before practically tripping over her own feet on the way to the door, excitement bubbling over.

She yanked it open—

Dae stood there.

With Eunice.

Actually insane how cute they looked.

“Kitty!!” they chimed in sync, both clutching overnight bags, already in their pajamas .

“Dae! Eunice!!” Kitty threw her arms open without hesitation, pulling them both into a tight, warm hug.

They melted right into it, laughter spilling out as they hugged her back just as hard, matching her energy completely.

After the hug broke, Dae and Eunice slipped inside like they lived there, kicking off their shoes and settling in without a second thought.

They always did.

At this point, they weren’t just friends—they were family.

Kitty shut the door with a soft click, already picturing the whole group crammed into her space, laughter bouncing off the walls, voices overlapping

Knock. Knock.

She didn’t even hesitate.

Kitty bounced on the balls of her feet, excitement building all over again as she swung the door open.

Q and Jin.

Together.

That alone said everything.

Whatever had been broken between them… it wasn’t anymore.

Kitty’s grin stretched even wider. “HEY!!”

“KITTY!” they both shouted at the same time, launching themselves at her without warning.

Way more intense than Dae and Eunice.

Kitty stumbled back a step from the force of it, caught off guard—but she laughed, wrapping her arms around them anyway, pulling them in just as tight.

The hug finally broke, and Kitty felt the warmth of it linger, her chest tight with gratitude. Her lips curved into that soft, genuine smile that only came around her friends. She turned, watching everyone talk and laugh, the room buzzing with life, before a tentative tap on her shoulder made her jump slightly.

“Uh, Kitty?” Madison’s voice wavered, her brow quirking as her arm fell to her side.

Kitty blinked, snapping out of her thoughts, whipping her head around with a sheepish, awkward smile.

“Sorry! It’s nice to see you, Madison. Mihee!” she chuckled, letting her warm, familiar persona slide back in effortlessly.

Madison and Mihee nodded, slipping into the crowd, joining the laughter and chatter. Kitty let out a quiet sigh, about to shut the door when—

“Is this the—Oh,” Marius trailed off, freezing the second his eyes landed on her.

“Kathy.” His voice was tight, lips pressed into a straight, awkward line.

They weren’t exactly close—never had been—but he was here. And that meant something.

“Marius!…” Kitty swallowed, her cheerful mask flickering. It wasn’t that she minded him being here, just… the awkward tension..

“I’m… really glad you could make it.” She forced a small, genuine smile.

Marius blinked, then let out a soft chuckle.

“Thank you.”

It was small. Awkward. But it was real. And for Kitty, that was enough.

The sleepover officially kicked off with the first game.

Truth or Dare. Classic.

“Hm…” Juliana squinted, eyeing everyone around the coffee table. Her gaze lingered a moment too long on Jin.

He swallowed, trying not to meet anyone’s eyes. Games like this always got him nervous.

Q shot him a small, amused glance, silently hoping it wouldn’t be a terrible question.

“Jiiiinnnn…” Juliana dragged out his name, tilting her head with a teasing smirk.

Suppressed giggles rippled through the group.

“Truth… or… DARE!” she finally shouted, theatrically loud, like it was a matter of life or death.

Jin sighed. “Truth.”

Groans echoed.

“Lameee!!” Praveena joked, flopping back against the couch.

Q clicked his tongue. “Jin… seriously?”

“You never know the dare!” Jin shot back, rolling his eyes.

Madison and Mihee dissolved into laughter. “That’s the point!”

“Whatever!!” Jin grunted. “Hit me.”

Juliana tapped her chin like an evil witch plotting, making everyone snicker again.

“Do you still pick your nose?” she asked, referencing the failed ski trip incident.

Min-Ho and Dae exchanged smirks, remembering the days when Jin used to pick his nose while teasing them.

All eyes zeroed in on Jin.

“Eww??” Eunice clapped a hand over her mouth, acting like she might actually puke.

Jin trembled. “No… who does that…”

Q lifted his hand off him. “Yeah, no.”

Jin’s mouth hung open. “I said no!”

“Yeaaahhh… how are we supposed to believe you?” Min-Ho asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jin parted his lips, ready to argue, when Juliana cut in, smirking.

“My turn!”

Jin’s eyes scanned the group, lingering a beat too long on Marius.

He swallowed. They’d never really talked after that apology. Never thought they should, not after… everything with Q.

But somehow, here, now… maybe all was forgiven.

“Marius.”

Marius looked up from his lap, meeting Jin’s expectant gaze.

“Truth or dare?” Jin asked, voice sing-song, hands propped behind him on the couch as he leaned back, watching.

“Uhhh… dare,” Marius shrugged, like it wasn’t a big deal.

“Ooohh!!” erupted from the group.

Q’s brows shot up. Jin… actually just talked to Marius? On purpose? Maybe things weren’t going to be too messy after all.

“Reenact your favorite romance scene,” Jin said, smirking.

Marius’s smirk faltered. “I… don’t watch romance content,” he muttered, sheepish.

Min-Ho leaned closer to Kitty, side-eyeing her. “He definitely does. I caught him once.”

Kitty stifled a laugh, already imagining how this was about to go down.

Marius wasn’t making it easy on himself. He could lie about almost anything… except this.

“Boy, just do the damn scene,” Q groaned.

Marius gulped, finally giving in. “Alright, fine. It’s from… Frozen.”

Immediately, the room erupted.

“FROZEN??” Kitty squealed, jumping in place. “Yes!!”

Marius sagged, shoulders dropping in relief at the reaction, while Jin and Q exchanged surprised chuckles.

Then, with awkward precision and a hint of dramatic flair, Marius reenacted the entire “Love is an Open Door” scene.

“Wow… you DO realize Hans was playing Anna… right?” Q squinted at him, like he couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

Marius shrugged casually. “What? Hans was fine as hell… AND had better priorities.”

The room froze for a second, everyone glancing at each other like, wait, what?

“It’s clicking…” Kitty muttered, eyes narrowing slightly, as if the chaos Marius caused in real life was finally showing through his “romance” picks.

“Your idea of romance seriously needs help,” Madison frowned, head resting on Mihee’s lap.

“I almost feel bad…” Mihee added, voice soft but teasing.

Marius’s jaw dropped. “Is nobody on my side?”

“No.” The entire group said in unison

_____________

“Kitty, truth or dare!” Marius asked, leaning back with that teasing glint in his eye.

Kitty’s grin stretched ear to ear. “Truth!”

Min-Ho let out a dramatic sigh. “Boring.”

Kitty nudged him with a scoff, not even trying to hide her amusement.

Marius tilted his head, no hesitation, no remorse. “Any… wet dreams?”

The room went silent. Eyes practically popped out of everyone’s heads.

Min-Ho’s gaze sharpened, obviously intrigued.

“I…” Kitty blinked rapidly, trying to process. She’d dreamed about both Yuri and Min-Ho, but talking about Min-Ho seemed… safest.

“I had… one of—” she met his eyes, cheeks instantly heating.

Q just shook his head, a mix of shock and disbelief at Marius’s audacity.

The rest of the group gasped.

Min-Ho let out a quiet chuckle. “Tell the class about them.”

Kitty’s eyes went wide. “Min-Ho!”

“Pleaseeee!!” Eunice begged, practically bouncing.

Kitty’s gaze dropped to the floor. “If I can remember…” She shut her eyes, the memory vivid as ever.

“It was… when Min-Ho and Stella were dating.”

Quiet gasps floated around the room.

“Whaat…” Dae whispered, glancing at Eunice before snapping back to Kitty.

Min-Ho leaned in, clearly more interested now.

Marius soaked it all in, savoring the drama like tea.

“I was… in over my head after me and him fought, I guess that’s what prompted the dream.” Kitty scratched the back of her head, embarrassed but honest.

“If I recall, I was in my room… Min-Ho came in—looking… breathtaking. Like he is now,” she giggled.

“But… uh, he sat on the bed… telling me I was right about everything. Then asking if I still wanted him.”

Kitty’s grin was unstoppable.

“Awhh! Look at you!” Yuri teased, pointing at how red Kitty’s cheeks were.

Min-Ho wasn’t even aware of the effect he’d had on her back then. A playful, knowing smirk spread across his lips as he listened.

“I wasn’t sure… but, y’know, we leaned into one another—then, unfortunately, I woke up.”

“‘Unfortunately’? What else did you want to happen, Covey?” Min-Ho asked, voice teasing.

Kitty shot him a look. “Nothing! Follow-up questions aren’t allowed.”

Min-Ho leaned back, hands up in surrender. “My bad. But, if you’re open to… exploring that dream…”

“MIN-HO!!!!” Kitty smacked him with a pillow.

The room exploded into laughter.

“YOU TWO GET A ROOOMMMMM!!” Juliana yelled, pointing straight at Kitty’s bedroom.

Next up: Charades.

First to go was Praveena.

“This should be good,” Juliana said with a grin, her hand brushing over Yuri’s as she leaned forward.

Praveena pushed her bangs back, flashing that sweet, almost innocent smile before stepping into the spotlight. She began walking in an exaggerated, silly way, tossing in a ridiculous British accent.

“Covey!! Covey!” she announced dramatically.

The group burst out laughing… everyone except Min-Ho.

“It’s Min-Ho!!” they shouted in unison, pointing and snickering.

Min-Ho just gave a small, unimpressed laugh. “Ha… ha.”

“Oh, lighten up, grumpy,” Kitty teased, leaning over to press a quick kiss to his cheek.

“That impression of me… needs work,” Min-Ho said with a smile, but it was dry, joyless, dripping with sarcasm.

Praveena rolled her eyes, unbothered. “Nobody’s better than the original.”

The group groaned, half in laughter, half in agreement, as Min-Ho gave her a mock glare.

Dae was up next.

He grabbed an imaginary guitar, strumming with wild, dramatic flair like he was on stage at a sold-out concert.

“Just for making me do this—100-page essay!!” he shouted, exaggerating every word.

The group chuckled instantly.

“This is definitely Professor Lee!!” Yuri shook her head, trying not to laugh too hard.

Dae nodded, that adorable grin lighting up his face, clearly pleased with himself.

“Him playing guitar? That was sickkk!!”
Jin yelled, and the laughter around the room doubled.

Kitty was up next.

“I think I’m so cool with my motorcycle! I’m the typical Disney villain,” she declared, flipping her hair and strutting around like she owned the room.

“I… refuse to believe Kitty has amazing matchmaking skills…” she added, shrugging dramatically.

Marius squinted at her, a smirk tugging at his lips. “My motorcycle is VERY cool!”

Kitty paused, then nodded reluctantly. “It is… but it’s for the game!” She couldn’t exactly lie, his motorcycle IS cool.

Juliana and Yuri both jumped up, immediately going into a mock make-out, exaggerated and dramatic. They got a little aggressive with it, then pulled back, smirking at each other.

“I need a Korean lesson…” Juliana whispered, voice low and playful.

“I can teach you one,” Yuri shot back, leaning in, full-on flirting.

Jin and Q nearly leapt out of their seats, memories flashing—they’ve had a conversation like that… and the aftermath…

“How the hell…?” Q pointed at them, wide-eyed.

Juliana and Yuri acted completely innocent, smirks still plastered on their faces.

Kitty blinked, tilting her head. “I… don’t get it… Korean lesson?? What does that—have to… do with…” Slowly, the suggestive meaning hit her.

Min-Ho sighed, shaking his head. “You innocent soul.”

“We literally said those words before,” Jin muttered, confirming he wasn’t losing his mind.

Yuri’s smirk faltered. “Wait… really??”

Juliana’s face twisted in sudden confusion.

“Huh,” Praveena murmured, raising an eyebrow, clearly impressed and mildly scandalized.

_____________

The group decided to up the fun with blindfolded makeup.

Dae and Eunice were appointed judges, looking way too excited for people just sitting there.

The teams were set: Kitty and Min-Ho, Madison and Mihee, Q and Jin, Juliana and Yuri, Praveena and Marius.

Kitty, Madison, Jin, Yuri, and Marius were blindfolded, fumbling for brushes and palettes as everyone else tried to give “helpful” instructions—or just snickered.

“Ow!” Q yelped, rubbing his eye after a rogue brush jabbed him.

“Sorry…” Jin frowned, guilt written all over his face. He definitely didn’t mean to hurt him.

“All this… product… it’s probably gonna ruin my perfect, beautiful face,” Min-Ho groaned dramatically.

Kitty rolled her eyes, sighing. “Even if you had pimples, I’d still date you.”

“Aw,” Q muttered, a soft smile breaking through.

“You mean that?” Min-Ho asked nervously as Kitty blindly worked on his makeup.

“Of course!! Now shut up, because I think I know what I’m doing,” Kitty said, dabbing purple eyeshadow on his cheeks—thinking it was blush.

Yeah… no. She had no clue what she was doing.

“Actually, I do know what I’m doing,” Madison said confidently, not doing too bad for someone blindfolded.

“Who the hell just hit me in the head?!” Marius shouted, hopping in place.

Jin peeked out from under his blindfold just long enough to smirk and throw another brush at him again, stifling a laugh.

“It was you, wasn’t it?” Q chuckled, shaking his head.

“Sit down, Marius!! You’ve got two minutes left,” Dae shook his head, clearly both amused and exasperated.

Eunice plopped down beside him, eyes sparkling with entertainment. Honestly, this was peak reality tv.

Marius grudgingly sat back, blindly swiping at Praveena’s face with brushes and whatever product he could grab.

“I have a feeling… we might lose,” Praveena muttered, worriedly.

Marius shook his head, “Trust me. We won’t.”

The confidence—or was it chaos?—radiated from him, and Praveena just blinked, unsure whether to hope or panic.

After all the trouble, the blindfolds finally came off.

Dae and Eunice took their time judging, squinting, whispering, and occasionally bursting into laughter.

When they finally announced the results… Madison and Mihee had won.

The group erupted—some cheering, some groaning, and some just staring at their own disasters in disbelief.

“What the fuckkkk…” Praveena muttered, staring at herself in the mirror, catching Marius’ sheepish smirk behind her.

“Are you serious?” she groaned, hand flying to her face.

Juliana just shook her head, unable to process how… hideous she looked.

"Sorryyy.." Yuri chuckled.

“It’s not too bad?..” Jin said, holding up the handheld mirror to Q’s face.

Q gasped. “Jin… I love you, but this is a mess.”

They both broke into soft laughter, the kind that came easy, before Jin started gently wiping Q’s face clean.

Q couldn’t help but just stare at Jin. Jin just looked… good. Always did.

“What??” Jin blinked, pausing mid-motion.

“You’re just… so cute,” Q murmured, tilting his head slightly, voice low.

Jin rolled his eyes, though the corner of his lips betrayed him. “Let me focus…”

From the couch, Marius watched.

And kept watching.

Something tight twisted in his chest the longer he did, like he was just… making it worse for himself.

Praveena caught the shift in his expression almost immediately. “Hey… you good?”

Marius snapped out of it, dragging his gaze away. “Yeah…”

She didn’t look convinced.

She knew that look. Been there before—watching something you couldn’t have, pretending it didn’t bother you when it clearly did. Yuri and Juliana flashed through her mind for a second.

Across the room, Yuri and Juliana were doubled over, laughing uncontrollably at everyone’s makeup disasters, completely lost in their own world.

Madison and Mihee slapped a double high five that turned into their fingers lacing together. “We won!”

Madison had somehow made Mihee look… actually good. Still messy, yeah—but compared to everyone else? Easily the best.

“Congrats,” Kitty said, stepping out of the bathroom with Min-Ho close behind her.

The room went quiet.

Like… too quiet.

“What?…” Kitty glanced around, confused by all the stares.

“What were you guys doing in there?” Marius squinted, suspicion written all over his face.

Kitty and Min-Ho looked at each other—panic flashing instantly.

“Nothing! I had to take the makeup off of Min-Ho!” Kitty rushed out, words tripping over each other.

A beat.

Then the entire group burst out laughing.

Min-Ho covered his face, shaking his head. “Yeah… that sounded believable.”

Kitty groaned, hiding her face in her hands. “Oh my god, stop!"

______________

Before the movie night could start, Dae was in the kitchen, focused on everyone’s drinks—mixing sodas, tossing in candies, making each one a little over-the-top.

Eunice wandered in, hopping onto one of the stools, watching him with a soft smile.

“Dae, 질문이 있어요.”
(Dae, I have a question.)

Dae glanced up, finishing off the last cup, sprinkling sour candy on top before setting it aside.

“듣고 있어요.”
(I’m listening.)

Eunice hesitated, then spoke carefully.
“만약 내가 정말로 임신했다면,”
(If I were truly pregnant,)

Dae paused completely this time, all his attention shifting to her.

“그래도 여전히 나를 똑같이 사랑해 줄 건가요? 아니면 여전히 이곳에 머물러 있을까요?”
(Would you still love me the same? Or would you still be here?)

He cleared his throat, but his answer came steady—no hesitation.
“물론이죠.”
(Of course I would.)

Eunice’s lips slowly curved, relief softening her expression.

“임신했든 아니든, 난 너를 똑같이 사랑해.”
(Pregnant or not, I love you all the same.)

“아, Dae. 사랑해.” she murmured.
(Ah, Dae. I love you.)

He smiled, stepping a little closer.
“내가 널 더 사랑해.”
(I love you more.)

Marius sat tucked into the corner of Kitty’s room, knees pulled to his chest like he was trying to make himself smaller. Yeah, maybe it was intruding—but he needed a second away from everyone.

Q brought something out of him he didn’t understand. Something messy. And no matter how much time passed, he still couldn’t shake the feeling that he’d somehow… lost something that was never really his.

“Be right back, I just have to—” Kitty cut herself off the second she noticed him.

She paused, startled for a beat, then quietly shut the door behind her.

Crossing the room, she dropped down beside him. “You doing alright?”

Marius lifted his head slowly, eyes flicking toward her.

“No,” he admitted, voice barely above a whisper. “It feels… torturous being around Jin and Q.”

Kitty’s brows knit together. She didn’t realize it still hit him this hard. Hearing it out loud—hearing the strain in his voice—made her chest tighten.

“I understand, Marius. But… they’re together. And you can’t change that,” she said gently.

“I know it hurts, but Q isn’t the only person out there for you. There’s a whole… huge world outside of this.” Her voice stayed low, careful, so no one else would overhear.

Marius sniffed, shaking his head. “I just… can’t move on, Kitty.” His voice cracked, and the tears came before he could stop them.

Kitty blinked, caught off guard. She’d never really seen him like this—this open, this raw.

He hated it too. Being vulnerable like this felt worse than anything.

She didn’t overthink it. She just shifted closer, draping an arm over his shoulders, pulling him into a quiet side hug.

“I treated him so badly…” Marius muttered, voice uneven. “I treated you the same way—when you were just trying to stop him from dealing with me.”

Kitty nodded softly. “We all mess up. That was then. You’ve changed, Marius. I’ve seen it… Q’s seen it too.”

She gave his shoulder a small squeeze.

“You don’t have to be perfect right now. Just… don’t stay stuck there."

Q could’ve sworn he heard crying through the door.

“I’m gonna go check on Kitty,” he told Jin, already heading down the hall.

He knocked once. “Kitty, it’s Q,” he called, leaning lightly against the door.

Inside, Kitty and Marius exchanged a look.

“Do you want him to come in? To talk…?” Kitty asked quietly.

Marius hesitated—then nodded.

“Come in!”

Q pushed the door open, stepping inside—and froze for a second when he saw it.

Marius, crying.

Kitty beside him, arm around his shoulders.

“Oh…”

Kitty gave him a small look, gesturing him over.

Q let out a slow breath, shutting the door behind him before walking closer.

Kitty slipped out quietly, the door clicking shut behind her.

For a second, it was just… silence.

“So, what’s up?” Q muttered, rubbing the back of his neck, not really sure how to approach this.

Marius let out a shaky breath, wiping at his face, but it didn’t do much. “You already know.”

Q frowned slightly, stepping a little closer. “Then say it.”

Marius laughed weakly, shaking his head. “I hate this.”

“Yeah,” Q said softly. “I can tell.”

Another pause. He didn’t rush him.

“I can’t stand being around you and Jin,” Marius admitted, voice cracking again. “Not because of him—well, not just him—but because I keep thinking about what I ruined.”

Q’s expression tightened, but he stayed quiet.

“I keep thinking that if I didn’t mess everything up… maybe things would be different,” Marius continued, staring at the floor. “And I know that’s stupid, because you’re with him and you’re happy but—”

“It’s not stupid,” Q cut in gently.

Marius blinked, looking up.

“It just… hurts,” Q added.

That hit harder than anything else.

Marius swallowed. “I treated you like shit.”

“You did,” Q said plainly.

No sugarcoating.

Marius let out a breath, like he expected it. “And I don’t expect you to forgive me or anything, I just… I don’t know how to sit there and act normal when every time I look at you, I remember what I lost.”

Q was quiet for a moment, then he sat down across from him.

“You didn’t lose me,” Q said.

Marius frowned. “What?”

“You lost the chance you had with me,” Q corrected. “That’s different.”

Marius didn’t respond.

“But that doesn’t mean I hate you,” Q went on. “If I did, I wouldn’t be in here right now.”

That made Marius’s chest tighten again—but not in the same way.

“I’m with Jin,” Q said firmly. “And I’m not leaving him. That’s not up for debate.”

Marius nodded quickly. “I know.”

“But…” Q exhaled, softer now. “That doesn’t mean you don’t matter. It just means you have to… stop tying your worth to me.”

Silence fell again.

Marius wiped his face one more time, steadier now. “I don’t know how.”

Q gave a small, tired smile. “Yeah… I figured.”

He leaned back slightly.

“Start with not isolating yourself in corners,” he added lightly. “Kinda obvious.”

Marius let out a quiet huff of a laugh.

“Come back out,” Q said. “You don’t have to be fine. Just… don’t disappear.”

Marius nodded, slower this time.

“…Okay.”

The two of them stepped out of the room, the door closing softly behind them.

The group barely reacted—Kitty must’ve said something, because no one pushed or asked questions. Just a few glances… then back to their own conversations.

Jin’s eyes locked onto Q immediately, worry written all over his face as Q sat beside him.

“Are you guys… cool now? What happened?”

Q met his gaze, softer now. “I’ll tell you later. Don’t worry.” He reached over, gently lacing his fingers with Jin’s, thumb brushing over his hand.

Jin exhaled, shoulders easing just a little.

Across the room, Marius watched .

It didn’t sting the same way.

He didn’t look away. Didn’t shut down.

He just smiled.

Because as much as it hurt…

Q was happy.

Kitty casually dropped onto Min-Ho’s lap like it was the most normal thing in the world.

“Don’t even ask—I’ll tell you later.”

Min-Ho blinked, then a slow smirk spread across his face. “Is this a thing now? …I’m not complaining.”

Kitty rolled her eyes, but the grin gave her away. “Shush.”

He let his hand rest on her thigh, relaxed, like he’d been waiting for this. “Alright, then.”

Around them, everyone got settled on the floor—pillows everywhere, blankets replacing the floor, and sleeping bags unzipped

Yuri and Juliana were already tangled up together, whispering and laughing under their breath.

Praveena, Madison, and Mihee formed their own little pile, leaning into each other, smiles and chatter—it was actually so cute.

Dae and Eunice stayed close, practically glued together, murmuring to each other like no one else existed.

And then—

Marius and Jin sat side by side.

…immediately getting on each other’s nerves.

“Can you not breathe so loud?” Jin muttered.

“Oh, I’m sorry, let me just stop,” Marius shot back dryly.

Jin rolled his eyes. “You’re annoying.”

“And you’re dramatic.”

They both went quiet for a second—

Then scooted slightly farther apart.

Q had a good laugh at that scene

Then came movie mayhem.

Horror vs fantasy.

The horror team—Min-Ho, Madison, Marius, Juliana, Praveena.
The fantasy team—Kitty, Mihee, Jin, Yuri, Dae, Eunice.

And Q?

Didn’t care.

“Can we be civil here?” he sighed, already knowing that wasn’t happening.

“Bro, pick horror,” Marius groaned.

“No!” Kitty and Eunice basically screamed at the same time.

Marius smirked. “Aw, we got some babies in here?”

Kitty didn’t even respond—she launched a pillow straight at him.

He caught it. Of course he did.

“Please just put on a Disney movie…” Jin mumbled from the floor.

Q sighed, rubbing his temples. “Let’s just do that. Jin nearly pissed his pants last time—”

“Q!!!” Jin gasped, immediately smacking him with a pillow.

That was it.

Madison shot up, eyes lighting up. “PILLOW FIGHT!!!”

And just like that—everything went left.

Pillows started flying across the room, people ducking, laughing, yelling.

Min-Ho blocked one with ease, only to get hit from the side by Kitty.

“Traitor!” he pointed at her.

Yuri and Juliana were already double-teaming
Praveena—no mercy.

Dae tried to shield Eunice, but ended up getting smacked anyway.

Jin hit Q again—on purpose this time.

“YO??” Q grabbed a pillow and swung back.

Marius stood in the middle of it all for a second—then caught a pillow mid-air and launched it right back.

No sides. No rules.

Just everyone going at each other.

Eunice launched herself off the couch like a tiny missile straight at Marius.

He hit the floor with a thud, groaning.

“Haha! Stay down!” she squealed, triumphant.

Dae grinned and slapped a high five against hers, clearly impressed with her attack.

Marius groaned louder, glaring up at them both, already plotting revenge.

Kitty got smacked from both sides—Yuri and Min-Ho—and her hair was an absolute rat’s nest.

“Sorry, Covey, you came after me!” Min-Ho shrugged, like it was totally justified, before swinging at Jin.

He whipped around and hit Min-Ho back

He went down hard, landing right beside Kitty.

“That’s what I thought,” Jin laughed manically, brushing off the hit.

“That’s how the game goes, right?” Kitty shot back, using his own words against him.

Min-Ho just rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath as he grumbled, clearly plotting his next move.

Eunice didn’t hold back, swinging at Mihee again and again.

Dae just froze, a mix of shock and… weirdly, endearment on his face. She was fierce. Like, battle-ready fierce.

Eunice turned her head with that perfectly innocent smile, clearly proud of herself…

Until she saw Marius hit Dae, sending him stumbling toward the floor.

“DAE!” she screamed, lunging forward.

The whole thing was cinematic—Dae flailing, Eunice flying after him, everyone pausing for a second like the slow-motion scene in a movie before the fight resumed

Dae and Eunice teamed up again, taking down Marius for good this time.

By the end, Juliana and Yuri were the last ones standing, going at it like pros.

Since they were on opposite teams, whoever won got their genre chosen.

Juliana overpowered Yuri, claiming victory for horror.

The horror team erupted—cheering, jumping, laughing, celebrating like maniacs.

Kitty just groaned, still perched on Min-Ho’s lap.

“It’s okay, Kitty… nothing’s gonna happen,” Min-Ho said, smirking, hand brushing lightly over her thigh.

She let out a dramatic sigh, snuggling closer into him, surrendering to his warmth.

_______________

The group finally settled down, drinks in hand thanks to Dae, and snacks scattered everywhere.

Every jump scare had Kitty and Eunice clinging to their boyfriends—Kitty to Min-Ho, Eunice to Dae—like their lives depended on it.

Mihee squealed, hands over her eyes, while Madison peeked through her fingers, more intrigued than scared.

Yuri stayed composed, lips pressed in a tight line. Not scared… just definitely preferring fantasy over horror.

“See? Wasn’t so bad,” Juliana nudged her playfully.

“I guess,” Yuri muttered, a small shrug betraying her enjoyment.

Jin pulled the covers up over his face like it would protect him from the screen.

Q and Marius just snickered quietly, watching everyone else freak out and cling to each other.

Praveena leaned back against her pillows, chatting quietly with Yuri and Juliana—the calm trio amid the chaos.

Their voices were soft, barely above a whisper, a stark contrast to the screams and squeals from the rest of the group.

It was like their own little bubble, just observing, joking quietly, and enjoying the night at their own pace.

the movie finally faded into the credits, Kitty let out a content sigh, snuggling closer to Min-Ho.

“Best sleepover ever,” she whispered.

And for once, everyone agreed—no words needed. The night spoke for itself.

Kitty yawned, stretching in Min-Ho’s lap, who groaned dramatically. “Ugh… why am I awake?”

“You volunteered to stay up last night,” Kitty teased, nudging him.

Eunice blinked slowly, still cuddled against Dae. “Do we really have to get up?” she mumbled. Dae chuckled, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

Marius was already awake, pretending to be annoyed at Q, but the faint smile tugging at his lips betrayed him. Jin groaned under a blanket, muttering something about “never touching horror again,” while Madison and Mihee munched on the leftover snacks.

Juliana, Yuri, and Praveena sipped their morning drinks, leaning back on pillows like royalty surveying the aftermath of last night’s chaos.

Kitty stretched again, looking around at all of them. “We survived,” she said softly, a grin creeping onto her face.

“And somehow… it was perfect,” Min-Ho added, resting his chin on her shoulder.
