Summary
"Agatha Gravesworth", a vampire with the appearance of a 17 year old girl, is a relatively new addition to the Phantomhive Manor’s growing staff. A quiet girl kept in the cellar of the mansion, where, among wine, blood is hidden to feed her, she works as a “night shift”. Allowed to sleep the day and only come out once the sun has set under the pretext of a rare “sunlight allergy”, she is believed to be an unfortunately ill and shy girl by most part of the staff, and known as a supernatural being only by Ciel and Sebastian.
This work presents her experience working as an everyday maid for the Queen’s Guard Dog, through a series of dated accounts from her diary. From chores, holidays, events and confessions, the notebook becomes an archive of life in the mysterious circumstances surrounding the countryside mansion.
