    Phantom wasn't supposed to survive the void. They weren't supposed to find the Abbey, or the pack, or something that feels terrifyingly close to home.

    But this is a story about what comes after belonging is found. The maintenance of it. The ordinary holiness of choosing to stay, every day, in a body that was never meant to survive. Of learning that wanting doesn't end in annihilation. Of love staying loud in a world that demands silence.

    Wanting has always been Phantom's most dangerous quality.
