    Everyone knows the 18 (19 if u count stellar) Pokemon types, but at least 3 of em are considered “Sinister Types”: Ghost, Dark, Poison, (and later also Psychic). Pokemon types that people generally avoid, and look at anyone crazy who uses these types, let alone **specializes** in them. Especially when Black/Brown folk are the specialists in question. In the Unova region, the sinister type gym leaders, who are all highly accomplished trainers and are known as the “Sinister Triad”, are preparing to retire from their tenure as gym leaders after already retiring from competitive battling. Each taking on their own “class” of protégés to train in becoming the new gym leaders, and to carry on their legacies. Only one from each group can become the gym leader for their gym, but all of them have the potential for greatness.
