“Try harder. Push yourself. You can do better than that. Is that all you’ve got?”

All of these phrases have one general consensus.

    “You’re not good enough.”

Words you’ve heard time and time again. From your coaches, from your teachers, from your peers, from your parents, from yourself. No matter where you go you can’t seem to escape it, and fate seems to want nothing more than to keep you in a constant loop of struggle.

Your body and mind will fail, your soul will fall apart, but one thing will stay the same.

You will never be good enough.

When you were younger it was much easier to deal with hearing those words. You could easily change your footing or fix your arm positioning; figure skating was always easy to you. You loved the rush you felt every time you landed some crazy trick and hearing everyone cheer so happily for you put a smile on your face. As you got older, however, the connotation of everyone's joy became worse and worse.

What if we put Yuri on Ice into Sk8 and forgot about it for 2 years?
