Summary
If there is something that any man fears, it's death. Only two things are guaranteed in life; death and taxes. The former being the more dire of the dreadful couple, our mortality is an unfortunate side effect of the gift of life itself.
Death takes without remorse, claiming whomever it may at whatever time it pleases. It's about time man figured out how to evade it, no? To take control of the uncontrollable, to play God. Some are too stupid to achieve it, many are just too scared of disrupting the natural order of things— Afraid to tip the fragile scale of divine timing.
