Summary
When Tenya and y/n were six years old, they were inseparable. Their moms were best friends at U.A and they just loved setting up little play dates with their children. Tenya would play the big and brave hero who would come and save the scared y/n. Don't tell them, but they often teased them about being a good-looking couple. The children never understood it, didn't they know it was super important hero training for Tenya?
A year later, the play dates had to end, as y/n and her family were moving to the States. They promised to stay in touch until Tenya got the news that his brother, Tensei, was paralyzed by a villain named Stain. And although he had unnamed feelings for his childhood friend, it was more important for him to focus on his journey to becoming a hero. And y/n knew that. So they grew apart.
8 years later, when y/n gets a job as the project manager for Suneater, a Pro-hero at Fatgum's agency, bringing her back to Japan. Unsure how she would feel seeing Tenya again after all these years, she attempts to reject Kirishima's invitation to the after-work bar visits. Will she be successful in avoiding him? Or will her heart break when she realizes they are completely different people?
