‘Achhhooo’, Lumine’s nose was runny.
She was sniffling to keep her snot from running further.
“Ewww I look and feel so ugly” Lumine moaned whilst Dottore softly opened the door, holding a tray of warm, comforting food that might help with Lumine's flu.
“Hello my beautiful songbird, I brought you some food” Dottore crooned.
“I don't want to eat anything, my throat is so sore I can barely speak” Lumine shooed Dottore away in frustration.
“I acknowledge your pain my darling but if you at least drink the gallus gallus domesticus (chicken) soup that I made for you, your rhinorrhea (runny nose) and acute pharyngitis (sore throat)…
“Ughhh I don't care about eating right now, I already told you I have a sore throat and stop using those weird fancy words to convince me”, Lumine replied sullenly.
“I see that you are currently in an irritated state, fine I will leave you alone for a short time to help you calm down but I'm still fixed on getting you to eat something Lumine” Dottore sighed.
He walked towards the door and shut it gently then paced around the hallway in the house that both Dottore and Lumine live in before he had an idea to make Lumine feel better.
*10 Mins later*
“Ah it seems you made it on time, Paimon”.
“Where's Lumine? Is she okay? How sick is she right now?” Paimon was spluttering and stuttering questions everywhere, she was genuinely worried for Lumine's health.
“Now now, I don't need an agitated person.
I brought you here to help calm Lumine down, not make it worse” Dottore retorted.
“Hey, that's not very nice to Paimon”, Paimon complained.
“Why must you speak about yourself in third person, it's peculiar” sigh “I guess that is what I should've expected asking for your assistance”.
“WHAT DOES THAT MEAN” Paimon yelled whilst stomping her tiny little feet in mid air like she always does.
Dottore shushed Paimon but she's still mad at him as always.
“It looks like we have sidetracked a bit, anyways just go into Lumine's room and do whatever you do to make her happier” the blue haired man ordered the little baby fairy thing that is Paimon.
“Hey… ugh fine, I'm only going to listen to you for Lumine.
Paimon doesn't like you and Paimon thinks Lumine could've chosen someone better for a partner but as long as Lumine is happy and you aren't hurting her I will tolerate you hmph”.
Paimon stormed away but quickly calmed down before slowly opening the door to Lumine's room, glancing at poor, ill Lumine before bursting the door wide open and throwing herself at Lumine whilst Paimon was welling up, Dottore followed behind Paimon after he reheated the tray of food he tried to make Lumine eat earlier.
“Wahhhhhh”, Paimon loudly wailed while she was hugging Lumine.
Huh, what is going on Paimon? Lumine hushed upon waking up whilst hugging Paimon back.
“Don't worry Paimon, I'm not dying, I just have the common flu, it's not deadly” the golden haired traveler assured her travel guide and most importantly her best friend ever since she started her travels in Teyvat.
“Promise me” Paimon sniffled between sobs.
“I promise Paimon, no need to worry” Lumine platonically kissed Paimon on the head, Paimon was like a little sister to Lumine.
“Ah you are awake, dear I have reheated the food you have to eat, otherwise you'll get presyncope (lightheaded)” Dottore murmured, he sat on a chair next to Lumine's bed and placed the tray on a nearby table.
Dottore ushered Paimon to give Lumine space to feel comfortable, then he spoonfed Lumine chicken soup, he made her drink water every few bites of food she ate and then he fed her porridge with a slight bit of honey in it to make it sweet, just how Lumine likes it.
Paimon was drooling then she quickly realised that the Doctor of all people made it so she pretended that she didn't care but Paimon admits to herself that the food does look appetising and tasty.
She talked to Paimon and felt way better than before.
Paimon told Lumine things that happened to her in the past week, they don't spend all of their time together ever since Lumine moved in with Dottore, they wanted some privacy as a couple.
Paimon was begging Lumine not to go and reminded her of how horrible of a man the Doctor is but in the end Paimon let Lumine move in with it… because she did sort of see the Doctor’s weird, blazing love for Lumine.
Paimon still is sceptical of him either way and the same goes for Dottore, as much as they don't like the other they don't fight to keep Lumine happy because Lumine is the number one person they both care about the most.
After an hour or two Paimon realised there was somewhere she needed to be and as much as she wanted to spend more time with Lumine she said goodbye to her best friend Lumine and got on with the rest of her day.
“So are you feeling better my love?” he questioned his dearest Lumine.
“Yeah I'm feeling great right now. I don't have a runny nose and the soreness of my throat has lessened quite alot!” The traveler smiled and it felt like Cupid's arrow pierced its way into Dottore's heart.
Dottore snuggled into the bed with Lumine, his arms wrapping her body, Lumine took Dottore's raven-like mask off revealing his beautiful ruby eyes.
“You are so handsome Dotto, our love is everlasting” the amber eyed girl’s body moulded with his body perfectly, her head resting on his hard chest.
“My words cannot accurately measure my love for you my songbird” the crimson eyed man’s hand softly stroked her golden hair whilst his lips brushed against hers.
Lumine faintly blushed before leaning in, sinking into the softness of Dottore's velvety lips, their lips became one as they sunk into each other's bodies.
