    Aleksandr Volkov was a concert pianist before the war He was also an Assassin trained by his father who was trained by his father before him He played Chopin in the concert halls of Warsaw and he killed Nazis in the sewers beneath the city After the war the Soviets came and the Templars came with them and Aleksandr watched as his wife was arrested by the secret police and his daughter was sent to a state orphanage He tried to find them but the trail was cold and after seven years he has given up He lives in a abandoned building in the Warsaw ghetto ruins playing the piano for no one and drinking himself to sleep Then a woman named Katya finds him She is a member of the Polish resistance and she has information about his daughter Yelena who is still alive in a state facility in the countryside Aleksandr does not want to hope but Katya will not let him hide
