Summary
Tord's life in the big city isn't as thrilling as he thought it would be! Finding a job is hard enough as is, and struggling through his measly entry-level job just isn't his cup of coffee. Who wants to work on a boat their whole life? 20 days on, 14 days off. It's not lovely, but it's a reasonable balance until he gets the chance to get on his feet. Hopefully, someone will finally take his work seriously! His studies of biotechnology surely can't go completely to waste!
But years without your best friends is a depressing feat, and the 12 days he has home in England are lonely without someone there with him. Tord never knew living would make him feel so dead. He misses them more than he thought he would. Tom and Matt, Tord figured he'd move on from them easily, given the short time period of their connection. But Edd? He was never fully sure about him.
