“Yowch! Wha- Shadow! What was that for?”
Shadow looked up from Sonic’s shoulder, removing teeth from skin. “What?”
“Are you looking for a fight? I thought we were relaxing!”
“I’m very relaxed.”
Sonic frowned at him. “Then why did you bite me?”
“You were away too long. Jerk. Idiot.”
Sonic yelped again, feeling fangs sink back in. He pushed Shadow’s head away. “Stop! Or at least do it softer?”
“…Fine.”
The bites became nibbles. Sonic didn’t mind those as much. It was weird, but…Well, so was Shadow. And Sonic liked Shadow.
“…I’m sorry I was gone so long.”
“…Alright.”
