"Okay Row, that magic spell definitely backfired." Zin looked around. "Row?"
"Over here. I know you're worried, but can you not shout so loudly, please... where's Lun?" Row looked around.
"I don't think the spell hit him or Levine, which is a good thing."
Zin jumped. "Texzia, you're here!"
"Yes, I'm here, but where is Levine?" Texzia looked around.
"Clearly not here!" Zin snapped.
Back in the living room, Lun and Levine stared at the portal that had closed too quickly for them to jump through.
"Row is gonna be so worried. If they're not in the same place... I hope they were sent to the same place. I hope my boyfriend is okay, obviously, but his daughter. He loves his daughter!" Lun paced back and forth.
"Do the deep breaths like you tell us to do. Don't be a hypocrite!" Levine grabbed him by his shoulders.
"How do we get them back?" Lun started hyperventilating.
"This stress ain't good for either of our babies, dumbass!" Levine shook him.
Row stood up and brushed off his black ripped skinny jeans and cropped glittery black t-shirt.
Texzia stood up and brushed off his magenta short shorts and green glittery tube top, then his magenta thigh-high platform heeled boots.
As Zin stood up, she felt the ground shake. She brushed the dirt out of her long purple hair and brushed off her purple hoodie with a red star on it.
"Turn on your appearance modifiers. We're in a neighborhood that is not ours. This is not the Pentagonal Undercities." Row turned on his appearance modifier. His white hair turned blonde as his gray eyes turned human-like. His skin turned from light gray to a human tone.
Zin turned on her appearance modifier, her purple hair changing to brown. Her green skin turned human as well.
Texzia quickly lifted up his wrist and turned on his appearance modifier. His silver skin and yellow hair and eyes turned human.
"A more pressing matter, Row, would be the weird stomping sound." Zin heard the loud stomping again, followed by a voice.
"Gir, I know you can't see me, but follow the stomping!"
The group stared as a green alien with black antennae floated past in a sitting position, leaving behind giant footprints in the ground.
The giant extension cord came unplugged and the Megadoomer was revealed.
"Okay, so it's the universe's most terrible cloaking device. We should probably do something, but I don't have my Starman costume."
"We should start wearing those underneath our clothes." Zin looked down at her outfit.
"Gir, outlet! Before we're noticed!" Zim shrieked.
"You've got to be kidding me. That's obviously a robot and a green dog costume, and it's obviously working for that alien." Texzia facepalmed.
"Yeah, and use your thing too, Texzia." Row turned to look at him.
"I can just use my magnetokinesis to rip that thing apart. No one in this very dirty neighborhood gets hurt." Texzia glanced around at all the dirty houses.
"Come on, quit judging the houses and stop that thing!" Row shouted.
"Even without my costume, Starwoman to the rescue!" Zin ran in the direction of the robot after it started stomping again.
"I should really come up with a better name, but Captain Magnetic to the rescue!" Texzia ran after her.
Row followed. "Starman to the rescue." Once he caught up, he looked at them. "It would be a lot faster if we flew."
"But we'll be seen!" Zin panted out.
"Everyone looks like they've been hit by radiation! I don't think they care!" Row glowed blue as he flew up into the air after the Megadoomer.
Texzia grabbed a trash can lid and used it as a hoverboard and flew off after Row.
Zin formed the vines on her back into wings and flew after them.
They caught up to the Megadoomer and saw it had stopped behind a van, cloaking device on and an extension cord dragging behind it.
"Hey, get out of the way!" Zim glared at the human in the van.
The woman in the van did not move, staying stopped at the red light.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! Move it! Hey! Hey! You invoke my wrath!"
The light turned green and the van drove through.
"Victory for Zim!"
"Well, at least he stops at red lights." Row shrugged his shoulders.
They followed the Megadoomer to the park where two kids were playing in a sandbox at night.
"My robot hits yours with swarmers." A kid with purple hair and a stitched up wound going across his forehead lifted up his robot toy.
"I counter with the wave pulse." A kid with a purple hat lifted up his robot toy as it lit up.
The other kid's eye twitched. "I'm not playing with you anymore!"
The Megadoomer stomped up to the sandbox as the power cord disconnected.
"More power! Give me more power!"
Gir found another outlet and the Megadoomer vanished, leaving behind the floating Zim.
Gir ran into the sandbox, grabbed the two robot toys, ate them, and ran off after Zim giggling.
"Where is this idiot even going?" Zin flapped her wings.
"I have no clue, but we're gonna follow!" Row dodged power lines as they followed the Megadoomer.
Dib finished brushing his teeth and rinsed out his mouth. He wiped his mouth with a towel and looked into the mirror.
He heard a stomping noise and glanced down at the toilet. Water splashed and spilled over the rim.
Dib stared at it as the stomping continued.
"Prepare yourself for the end, Dib!" Zim floated toward Dib's house.
Dib ran to the window and looked out. His mouth fell open as he saw Zim floating toward him in a sitting position with three humans flying behind him.
Dib ran out of his house and looked up.
"I've put up with you long enough, Dib! Now fight an enemy you cannot see!" Zim screamed.
Dib raised an eyebrow. "You're right there." He pointed.
"What?" Zim looked down and moved out of the direction of his own finger.
"Seriously, he's attacking a kid." Row facepalmed.
"This is a whole thing, you wouldn't get it." Dib crossed his arms. He looked up at the three of them. "Wait, you guys are actually flying. You actually believe what you're seeing!"
"Yeah, we believe it. Honestly, we've seen weirder." Zin shrugged.
"On the topic of being seen, I can be seen! You can see me!" Zim shrieked.
"Yeah, your mighty Irken cloaking device cloaks the robot but not you." Dib looked at him.
"Now that's just stupid. No, like really stupid." Texzia facepalmed.
"Lies! You're all lying! Now behold the Doomcannon!"
"We can't, it's invisible," all three of them said in unison.
"Yeah, I can't see it. It's invisible." Dib pointed.
"But you can see me." Zim looked at him.
"Oh, that's stupid!" Zim facepalmed.
"Yeah, really stupid." Dib agreed.
"Yeah, we can all see you." Texzia crossed his arms.
"Do the thing now. This is getting really stupid." Row facepalmed. "I can't wait to get back to the Pentagonal Undercities where people are smart."
"And I thought humans were kind of stupid." Zin looked at Zim with a sympathetic look.
"Yeah, your world conquest plans were better than this. I'm just saying that as your friend. Sometimes they were not good." Texzia frowned. "We're still friends, right? That's been kind of unclear as of late."
"Yeah, we're still friends, even if I think what you did was really shitty." Zin looked at him. "I'm sorry. I've been kind of really hard on Levine."
"I'm glad we're making up and all, but we kind of need to take this thing apart." Row looked at the Megadoomer.
"You all dare agree with me! Prepare to meet your horrible doom!" Zim pushed a bunch of buttons.
A mechanical voice sounded. "Warning, power draw critical."
Gir looked at the Megadoomer. "Chicken! Hee hee, I'm gonna eat you."
"Wow." Dib took out a camera with the lens cap on and started taking pictures.
"Should we tell him the lens cap is on?" Row whispered to Texzia.
"No, I'm just gonna take apart the thing." Texzia raised his hand and used his magnetokinesis to start pulling the Megadoomer apart piece by piece.
"Power emergency! Gir, power emergency!"
"Crop Circle magazine's gonna put me on the front cover! Somebody take a picture of me standing in front of it before he takes it apart!" Dib handed Gir the camera.
Gir started taking photos of him.
Dib posed in front of the Megadoomer.
"Oh, you look so cute!" Gir snapped photo after photo.
Zim slammed his head against the control console. "No, Gir, no!" He pulled on his antennae and jabbed a button with a smiley face on it before tumbling out of the back of the Megadoomer.
An automated voice started counting down from five.
Dib grabbed the camera back and shielded his head.
Row's hands glowed blue as a force field formed around the group.
The Megadoomer exploded, sending a shockwave through the town.
Zim walked over and grabbed the camera from Dib's hands. "Victory!"
"What do you mean victory? Your robot exploded and you didn't destroy me!" Dib threw his hands up.
"Yeah, good point. You literally achieved none of your goals." Texzia crossed his arms. "Which is good."
"A day well saved and a job well done!" Zin laughed.
Row giggled. "Victory for us!"
"It was a trick, yes... my plan was to steal this camera from you so that you couldn't show these pictures." Zim laughed.
Dib tackled him. "Give it back!"
"Okay, now that that's over, how are we supposed to get back to our own dimension? I assume this is dimension travel at this point." Row looked around.
"It's a really weird dimension." Zin crossed her arms.
"No way, never!" Zim laughed.
Dib grabbed the camera and held it up. "Victory for Earth!"
"You had the lens cap on." Zim pointed at the camera.
"I did not, I..." Dib looked at the camera and screamed.
"Victory! Victory for Zim!" He ran off and was immediately crushed by a piece of the Megadoomer that fell from the sky.
A bird swooped down and stole the camera.
"Well, I liked that camera, but I guess this is still a victory for me." Dib looked defeated.
"Yeah it is, you're alive!" Zin threw her hands up. "This timeline is really stupid!"
"Yeah, the problem is we can't get back to where we're from and we need to get back to our dimension. Do you have any spare magic stuff laying around? That would be lovely." Row looked down at Dib.
"You can use my spell drives if you have magical abilities. You can probably power it yourself." Dib said.
"Thank you, kid." Row floated down, the blue glow disappearing as he landed on the ground.
"Come to my room, the spell drives are in there." Dib said.
They all walked into Dib's house and up the stairs to his room.
Dib grabbed the spell drive from his closet and handed it to Row.
Row examined it. "Yeah, I can use this." He opened the spell drive and used his life energy to power it.
The spell drive glowed blue as a portal formed.
Row handed the spell drive back to Dib and waved as he walked toward the portal. "Thanks for not using us as evidence, kid!"
Dib waved as he watched them all step through the portal. "Yeah, no problem."
Row exited the portal and was immediately hugged and lifted off the ground by a man with green hair and eyes. Lun kissed him. "You're back!"
Levine ran over and hugged Texzia, his orange spiky hair and green skin a stark contrast against Texzia's silver. He hopped up into his arms and wrapped his legs around Texzia's waist.
Zin stood there awkwardly. "Hey, Levine... I should probably apologize to you for being so... you know."
"It's okay, I understand your anger. I did kiss a man who was in a relationship, and who was in rehab." Levine said.
Dib examined the spell drive and noticed it was full. He smiled and ran to his computer. He pulled up the Swollen Eyeball network and smiled as he waited for someone to answer.
