Elliot and C00lkidd were watching some romcom on the couch. Elliot was invested with the movie, while C00lkidd seemed a bit bored. He was only really watching it because it was something Elliot enjoyed.
They stiffed a laugh when the girl’s dad threatened her boyfriend. Elliot looked at them with a slightly confused smile on his face. “What’s so funny?”
“Nothing really, it’s just that my dad can sometimes act like that.” She explained. Her dad has a good reason for his behavior, it was just kinda funny.
“You talk about your dad a lot, he must be a really good parent.” He said smiling at her.
“Oh yeah, he’s amazing. I’m his only child, so he cares about me a lot. He actually was the one to name me. According to him, my mom didn’t have any ideas so she just let him pick my name.”
“And he landed on C00lkidd?” He looked slightly confused. They turned to him confused before realization settled in and they laughed. “You thought my actual name was C00lkidd?” Elliot suddenly felt embarrassed, but nodded.
“No, C00lkidd’s just a nickname a friend gave me in elementary school because he couldn’t pronounce my real name.” C00lkidd said with a slight smile on his face.
“Why do you still use it then?” Elliot asked after a moment.
“Well, it was easier. After he gave me the nickname, everyone just started using it. The teachers at my school would butcher my actual name, so I just told them to call me C00lkidd, and it followed me. I started using it as a cover up name when I started exploiting, and because it was never on any legal documents of mine, no one ever went to bother my dad about my whereabouts, so it was good for something.” He explained.
“Oh.” Elliot was silent for a second. “Can I ask what your actual name is?”
C00lkidd laughed slightly at his question as she turned to look at him. “It’s Chantesuta. My name is Chantesuta.”
