Chapter Text
Large pillars of light spawned from the ground, many mech suits came out of them, stomping the nearby foliage.
They found themselves next to Celestia, their suits matching the aesthetic of the futuristic buildings in front of them.
Some large bull came rushing, protecting its territory against the invaders, but it got blitzed by magnetic bolas thrown at its feet and a railgun bullet into its head.
The mech suits opened, revealing humans on the inside. Their airtight suits morph and shift into more comfortable forms. “So this is it, we have arrived at our destination.”
One of the suits, decorated with many badges inscribed into the liquid metal, spoke with authority, “We have, this is the furthest we could go it seems.”
Another guard spoke up. “This is the first documented presence of the new base for humanity. What should we do now, general?”
They arrived directly after the worlds merged, directed strictly where they needed to go for their objectives, but it wouldn’t hurt to clean up the place to welcome their desired visitors, they had a lot of time on their hands after all. “We’ll tidy up the place, we can’t allow any of our natural enemies to live, because the fate that awaits us in the future will not be pretty.”
Their suits morphed back into combat mode and they all started walking in every direction, making sure to spare no one enemy entering their sight.
They were here for a specific reason, because in the future, the enemies became too strong. It all started with the world merging, but it would only end with the collapse of humanity, that’s what it meant to face against a natural enemy.
Before dying to the future they made for themselves, the last bastion of humanity decided to go back in time, to the source of every conflict plaguing their world.
They would try to prevent these conflicts, to prevent their advent, because it was the only way to truly win.
The commander ordained them to find the originator, the unstable element, the card that will change the course of history.
Zaybi.
