Francesca stuck her hand out for her daughter's teacher to shake, finally regaining control of her body's mobility. “It was nice meeting you, Miss Stirling. I see now… why my daughter is so enamored with you.”
She returned the warmth of Miss Stirling’s smile, allowing herself to get lost in her eyes once more.
“It was my pleasure, Mrs. Kilmartin.” She took Francesca’s hand, eyes fanning her frame, panning upwards. They deepened when they met each other's gaze. “Your daughter is special. You should be nothing less than proud.”
