Lonely one, I always knew

Summary:

Title From June - Tigers Jaw

Notes:

Triggers/Notes:

Percy is 17, and Luke is '22'. (like mother like son *wipes away tear*) this is MPREG.
This is rather silly. To ME. But I have been struggling to write mpreg even though I'm obsessed with mpreg and these two, so have this au. More notes about it in the bottom, cause I love to world build and then do nothing with the world I build lmao.

The title has nothing to do with this fic, I just have the song on my lukercy playlist tbh.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

He had done it as a joke. Annabeth had thrown the box at his head, and told him to go take it since he was sick and irritable. He'd rolled his eyes, and taken the box into the bathroom. He hadn't expect the two little lines. He had just had blood work done a few months ago for something else, so it couldn't be a tumor. He was leaning all his weight on the counter looking at it.

Annabeth walked in, took a look over his shoulder, placed a hand on his shoulder, and said in a very kind voice all things considered,

"I told you so."

He stepped into his mom's apartment. He could hear her and Paul talking in the living room, though his head was still spinning and he couldn't exactly tell what they where talking about.

"Mama," he called, and she came running around the corner. He only called her that when he was injured or distressed. She took one look at him, and her face was confused. She nodded to Annabeth, smiling at her. She waved. She turned to Percy, nodded once, and he nodded back, and then she turned and left without a word.

Sally took his hands in hers, and walked them into the living room. She sat them on the couch, and was still holding his hands. He knew he was flushed.

"Mama, I did the one thing you told me not to do." He whispered, his eyes on her face.

She took a deep breath and shut her eyes. Rolling her shoulders she brought his hands up and pressed her mouth to his fingers. Paul gasped a little, though he wasn't sure his mom had told him.

"You got pregnant by a god?" She asked.

"I got pregnant by a god while under the age of 18." He said, his voice bland. Probably too bland for the situation.

She nodded, and then sat back with a sigh.

"Please tell me it isn't a major god at least."

He smiled, and shook his head,

"No, he isn't."

He met Luke when he was 15. His mom had avoided taking him to the camp as long as she could, and they had spent most of their lives at the beach, talking with the other side of his family. His dad and step mom and brother were over protective, and didn't care what any other god had to say about the fact that they killed most of the monsters that got near them.

At first, Luke hadn't wanted anything to do with him. And Percy hadn't taken it personally, or at least tried not to.

His dad had claimed him immediately. His cabin was empty, but he knew that. He was honestly looking forward to his own place after staying with his mom and one or two gods in a one room cabin for years.

It took a week to get Luke's attention. Learning about him was a fascinating and terrifying task.

He was a kid of Hermes, his dad had loved him so much he had made him immortal without even asking. It was still a strained relationship. Luke was 20. He had just turned 20. Percy was too curious.

Luke liked that Percy was curious and rude.

They spent days training, Luke teaching him swords, and by the end of the summer, Percy couldn't wait to come back and see him again.

That's how the next two summers and one notable winter went where Thalia, savior of Olympus, joined the hunt. Percy didn't even dare to ask for anything besides the time that Luke gave him.

And then something happened. Annabeth got her own apartment, and he went over when he could, and Luke was almost always there too. The god still thinking of her as his, even with a different goddess's claim of her.

The third time Percy stayed over, Luke followed him to the guest bedroom, sat on the edge of the bed while Percy had crawled under the covers, and something in him had snapped, he didn't exactly remember what he had said to get Luke into bed with him, just that it had been amazing, perfect even.

And it happened, again and again and again. Luke followed Percy to the guest bed room and Percy would ask, and Luke would follow him under the covers.

And only felt slightly guilty at the face Annabeth gave him after every morning it happened. He washed the sheets himself, so he wasn't the worst guest ever.

Annabeth had called on the land line the next morning, letting him know Luke was there, and would be there all day, and if he didn't come over and tell him by the end of they day, she would.

He sighed, and then told him mom. She nodded and put her shoes on to follow him out the door.

Walking in, he was met with a grinning Luke, who then furrowed his brow at the sight of his mom behind him.

Percy shrugged, kicking his shoes off by the door, and then walked into Annabeths living room. He mom had yet to see it, and she stopped short when she saw the floor cushions and the god sitting on them.

She smiled at Luke, but went into the kitchen and grabbed a chair,

"My knees don't work like they used to," she said, settling next to Percy. Percy smiled up at her, and then cleared his throat.

His mom spoke though, telling Luke she was glad to meet him, shaking his hand. He smiled, genuinely at her.

They talked for hours. They talked through lunch. And then his mom took her leave. She put a hand on his arm, smiled at him, and asked Annabeth to walk with her to the market.

"Not that I didn't love meeting your mom officially, instead of just when she drops you off" Luke said, as he laid down on the floor and beckoned Percy over to him, "but what was that about?"

Percy went over to him and took his hand when it was offered. Luke tugged him down, and grabbed one of his legs, moving him so he was straddling his middle.

"Well," Percy started, hands suddenly sweaty. He pulled them away, and gripped his own knees.

"So, you know who my dad is,"

Luke nodded, one brow raised like 'of course Percy, he's my great uncle and a pain in the ass',

"Well, you know, his kids, all of them they can."

He trailed off, rolled his eyes to the ceiling and looked back down to Luke,

"I'm pregnant."

Luke hummed, and brought a hand down to Percy's lower belly, it was warm, and comforting.

"I know."

Percy's insides flipped. And he leaned forward, like he was going to kiss Luke. And then he popped him upside the head as he sat back on his heels over him, making the god flinch a little in surprise even as his sweet smile turned into a feral grin.

"Luke Castellan, did you get me pregnant on purpose!"

Notes:

They are all closer in age this time. Luke is '22', Thalia is '19', Annabeth and Percy are 17 (along with Jason, and everyone), Nico is 15, but he hasn't shown up just yet in this au.

Percy and Luke meet like a few months after Luke took over the camp. Percy learns this in his second year at camp.

Luke is a god in charge of camp. He was given the Mr. D punishment after he tried to betray them. Hermes made Luke immortal before the gods could kill him for almost raising Kronos. Thalia still joined the hunters after it was over. Luke now has to train the demigods forever, but he gets to teach them not to just blindly follow the gods or titans. also Thalia pretty much asked the gods the same thing that Percy asked of them. No more unclaimed, no more pact. I know most people agree she wouldn't have given Luke the knife and that why it had to be Percy, but I think things would be different this time around cause she was never a tree.
