Work Text:

Percy had been, justly all things considered, pissed off at Luke for a while after he found out Luke got him pregnant on purpose.

He'd liked to have had a conversation about it with him, before hand. He couldn't say he regretted the baby. He was honestly, a more then a little excited for them.

He found himself resting his hands over his, completely flat still, lower stomach on more then one occasion. To the point that even a few of his classmates where asking him if he felt good.

Most days, he just shrugged.

He hadn't let Luke come see him. He hadn't been back to Annabeth's place, or camp, since finding out.

She wasn't angry with Percy. She had also banned Luke from her apartment for the time being, and spent most of the afternoons with him while he hid in his room.

But it had been a few weeks, and he was missing Luke.

He sighed, and then got into his old car after classes, heading to camp instead of back home. He hoped Annabeth would forgive him for not heading back to his place, but he knew his mom would giver her home made cookies and all would be forgiven eventually.

He had time to think on the drive, and he thought about how he had yet to tell his dad.

He grimaced at the idea.

His dad hadn't made his disinterest in Luke unknown to him. Luke had tried to kill them all, but when he was turned into a god, a lot of things had become known to him, as Luke liked to tell it. Percy didn't ask. He had been a kid, at time it had happened, hiding away at Montauk while his mother stressed about the end of the world without him being aware of it all.

He sighed, but pulled into the little parking lot at the base of the hill.

The sun was setting as he walked up the hill. It was casting beautiful shadows across the grasses.

He paused when he got to the top of the hill, just looking out across his second home. Luke would feel him cross the boarder, but he didn't know if the god would come to meet him, all things considered.

It was dinner time, and he was always welcome at camp, so he walked to his table, and waved when a few kids called his name. He sat down, and his plate was there, and he filled it. He went to the fire, and tossed some in. Some for his dad, and then he hesitated, but pushed some in for Luke, whispering a 'can we talk later?' to the god in the form of a prayer.

He flickered his gaze over to the god sitting at the table, and was relieved when the god nodded his head once to him.

He ate in silence, and then walked off to his cabin when the rest of the kids when to the sing-along.

"I'm so mad at you," Percy said, when Luke appeared in his doorway. He wouldn't enter the cabin, gods in each others 'temples' usually meant something, and Luke didn't want his dads attention most days.

Luke titled his head to the side, sighing loudly.

"I know."

"Is that all you know how to say now?" Percy snapped, and then shut his mouth hard enough his teeth hurt. He liked Luke, loved him, and even though he was a young god, Luke was still a god.

Luke just smiled sadly. His hands where stuffed into his pockets.

Percy crossed his arms. He was sitting in the middle of the floor.

"Where will they even sleep here? You don't have a cabin yet."

Luke sighed, kicked at the door jam,

"In the big house, if they don't let a cabin be built for me."

Percy scoffed, and laid flat on his back,

"I can't believe you didn't ask me first. I would have just asked for you to wait for me to turn 18 you know."

Luke made a sound,

"I didn't know that."

"I want to get married." Percy said, almost cutting him off. His chest hurt, an ache like rejection already.

"What," Luke said, his voice soft.

Percy sat up. He leaned back on one arm and placed his hand over his stomach.

"After the baby is born, I want to get married to you."

Luke lifted up a foot, and then looked at the door way, a pained expression on his face, he looked down at him, his eyes pleading,

"Perseus, please come here."

Percy titled his head to the side, and then laid back on the floor again,

"Percy, my love, babydoll, please come here."

Percy sighed, and sat back up, walking over to Luke, but he paused before he was completely out the door. Luke made a pained sound.

"You never answered."

"I would have to get permission from the council, and you would become immortal-"

"My dad will be pleased. Hopefully that'll take his mind off being pissed off at you for getting me pregnant," Percy said, cutting him off.

Luke blinked, and then took a step back from the door, eyeing it like the thought just accursed to him.

Percy laughed.

"Why did you get me pregnant Luke? I mean besides the obvious."

Luke smiled, and then he held out a hand,

"Please."

Percy took his hand, and walked out.

They ended up back in the big house, in the office. There wasn't a bed there, but there was a long couch that Luke slept on sometimes. The gods didn't need as much sleep, but the still needed some. Percy sat down, patting the spot next to him. Luke knelt at Percy's feet, and put his head on Percy's knees. Percy gasped, softly, but reached out and put his hand in Luke's hair.

"I wanted a demigod of my own so badly," Luke whispered, "a child of my own, honestly, for so long."

Percy hummed, softly, hoping he will continue.

"I'm confined here, unless I'm at Annie's and even then I had to get permission for that."

His voice was bitter. Percy just let him talk.

"As a god, there's this," he trailed off, and then raised his head, his eyes meeting Percy's,

"There's this calling? Of wanting kids. It's not hard to ignore, but it's just part of you." His voice was tight.

"I fell in love with you," Luke whispered, "so there was a part of me that had to give you a baby. I ignored it, until I just. Couldn't."

Percy tilted his head to the side in thought. His mind wondered about that thought he had, about how gods are more human than humans are. And then Percy remember that Luke's dad was a fertilely god at one point, and he wondered if maybe that got passed to Luke.

"I know that look," Luke mumbled, his chin now on Percy's knees, "you're thinking something I'll hate."

Percy blinked a few times, and then wrinkled his nose a little, sheepishly. Luke sighed,

"Just tell me."

"I was wondering if maybe you got a dormant domain from your dad," he said, with a grimace.

Luke blinked once, and then twice. And then he sighed,

"No, but I wouldn't be surprised if it had influenced me when I was mortal enough to continue into the life."

Percy snickered a little. Luke rolled his eyes, and then they went soft.

"I was worried you didn't want to keep them, I'm glad you do."

Percy eyes went soft as he looked down at the god knelt at his feet. He had never considered anything else.

Luke then push Percy's legs apart at the knees, which made Percy give out an undignified squack of a sound.

Luke leaned his head forward, and pressed his cheek to Percy's stomach.

"Our baby," Luke mumbled, his voice filled with awe.

Percy's stomach fluttered.

"You never said if you'd marry me." Percy said, his fingers already twisting back into Luke's hair.

"You never properly asked," Luke said, his voice teasing.

Percy rolled his eyes,

"Lukas, you knocked me up. Marry me."

"Anything you want babydoll."

Percy stood ankle deep in the water. His dad was standing next to him.

They had just gotten back from Olympus, where Luke had asked if they would let them get married. It wasn't a meeting, meeting. They had all been human sized. His dad had almost thrown a fit, until he realized that Percy wanted to accept immortality.

The request had been granted, approved for October, after Percy turned 18 and after the baby was born. Percy didn't know how he would handle figuring out minor godhood, and a new born.

He turned to his dad,

"I'm pregnant, by the way."

His did sighed,

"I knew I should have smacked that boy upside the head."

Percy threw his head back and laughed. When he could breath again, he turned back to his dad,

"That's the first thing I did after I told him."

Poseidon just sighed, crossing his arms, but Percy could tell he was pleased.

Notes:

-I made a post a long time ago about pet names. Book!Luke called Percy honey. Show!Luke calls him babydoll. This can be either or, so I didn't tag it as such, but I am thinking of vaguely the show version for this vers…..

-This was not planned….. was just gonna leave this au and go do a different mpreg au… but then I thought of god!Luke with his face pressed to Percy's tummy, just feeling the energy coming off the microscopic spec of life. Anyway, I got soft.

-I wrote this in one night, it's had minimal editing, I just kinda wanted to do a little something and not stress reread it to make sure it's perfect lol.
