   Summary

He couldn’t realize this while things were life or death. But now they’re living their lives as normal as they can. So when Richie has that protective instinct again, Eddie isn’t distracted by an inter-dimensional clown about to kill them both. He can actually process that Richie went out of his way for him. He can process the twisted pleasure it gives him.
