   Summary

   Canon divergence where Innes somehow survives, and tries to give Muir the 'help' he's been so desperately begging for.
   (Long story short: Innes digs himself into such a giant hole that it collapses on him, then somehow manages to continue reaching deeper. Muir's sorry state hurts his soul but there is little he can do but finally be honest with himself)
