    Summary

Twenty-four years after the blackmail crisis of 2001, Britain still controls the oldest and most extensive space empire in human history, but the system is fraying. Its orbital power grid is failing, its Mars generation wants independence, the Americans and an Asian coalition have broken the British monopoly in cislunar space, and buried wartime crimes are now impossible to contain. A final constitutional struggle begins over whether the Ministry will reform into a commonwealth of worlds or drag the empire into civil and orbital war.

The story moves from exposure, to systems crisis, to public counter-administration. It begins with blackouts and leaks, escalates through attempted military and logistical coercion, and ends with the first rough constitutional mechanism capable of replacing imperial continuity with visible shared authority.

The series argues that empire survives less through flags than through logistics, forms, route priorities, supply control, and administrative language. It also argues that reform only becomes real when hidden procedures are dragged into public sequence and made answerable to mixed authority.
