Two months ago you switched schools to Pardis High. Since then it's been going well. You've made some friends, your best friends being Jean Kirstein, Connie Springer and Sasha Braus, a group of absolute cornballs. You were standing at your locker talking with Connie until Eren came over.
Eren was one of the more popular kids in the school, but he only really hung out with Armin and Mikasa, who you guessed were his childhood friends. He had his usual scowl on his face as he sauntered over to you and Connie, leaning against the locker beside yours casually. "Sup you two." Connie raised a brow. "Hey Eren. Whats up? Shouldn't you be practicing for soccer?" Eren laughed a bit, his scowl dissapearing. "Maybe. Anyway, I'm throwing a party for Floch tonight, his birthday's coming up. You rolled your eyes but crossed your arms, you hadn't really liked Floch, he was..extreme, to say the least, but he could be nice sometimes. You sighed and looked over to Eren. "Well, Who's gonna be there?"
He shrugged "The whole school, bro. I mean, unless you're talking girls." His grin widened. "Mikasa, but don't talk to her she's off limits." You put your hands up in mock surrender as he cleared his throat. "Pieck, Hitch, Historia, Ymir, Annie.." Connie smirked and leaned closer to Eren "No way, you got Annie to come? I thought Annie hated you! and Floch!" Eren gasped "Hate me? No way! We're locked in, she's like my girl best friend." Connie seemed strangely impressed with this Annie girl going to the party. "But dude, she's like—super mysterious. She never goes to parties, unless its Reiner's party!"
"Well my parties are always better than Reiners." Eren and Reiner had some sort of rivarly going on, especially during wrestling season. "I'm basically Annie's best friend, she respects me very much." Connie snorted causing Eren's head to whip toward him. "Well, I think its safe to say we'll be there." You finally decided, Connie nodding in agreement. "Yeah man, I wanna see if Annie will start a fight." Eren nodded and waved us off before going back to whatever he was doing. You looked at Connie.
"Hey, Con-man. What's the big deal with Annie?" Connie's voice was filled with excitement as he responded. "You haven't heard? Well, she's the bad girl of the school, a huge player. She's more of a player than Eren and Reiner combined!" Your eyes widened at that, and he kept going. "I heard she gets into bar fights all the time." Suddenly Sasha appeared behind him, putting a hand on his shoulder and a serious expression on her face.
"I heard..she's robbed a bank!" Okay, Now these seem overexagarated. "I don't think she did all of that..Are you going to the party, Sasha?" Sasha nodded her head. "Eren always has snacks at his parties, so I'll of course be there to grab some." You and Connie laughed. Well, now you were interested in this Annie girl.
That Night
Tonight was one of those nights that was chilly and windy. Before you left your house you threw on a hoodie so you wouldn't freeze your ass off, it was always cold at night in October. You left the house and started your walk toward Eren's neighborhood. The trees were a beautiful shade of red, they seemed so bright even in the dark night. A small gust of wind blew some leaves ahead of you, what a beautiful worl—THUD.
You slowly took out your airpod and looked infront of you, seeing a guy on the ground a few feet ahead. You looked up further and saw a shorter girl standing there, staring right back at you. You opened your mouth to speak, voice a bit airy.
"Uh—What just..." Honestly you didn't even know where to start, why the fuck was there what seemed to be a passed out high schooler laying just ahead of you. You finally got a word out. "Why???" She looked at you blankly and turned, walking off. Your mouth widened in shock, before you snapped out of it. You stepped over the unconcious guy and ran over to the girl, walking beside her.
She had light blonde hair in a ponytail and cold sapphire blue eyes that looked straight ahead as she strolled on the sidewalk. Her face was blank, her eyes flickering to meet yours. "What do you want?" Her voice was low and flat. Your eyes narrowed in response. "Well you know, you just knocked out some guy infront of me and waltzed off like it was a normal tuesday, I guess I'm just curious." You said sarcastically. She rolled her eyes and stopped walking, causing you to stop. She turned and faced you fully, giving you a once-over.
"You're that new girl aren't you? Eren was talking about you the other day." She turned to the side. You looked at her curiously. "Yeah, thats me..Hey, you're Annie, aren't you? I heard a bunch about you.." A small hollow laugh escaped her lips. "Like I'm a criminal?" You hesitated "Well, I didn't believe the rumors at first but..you did knock that guy out." She crossed her arms and shifted her weight. "Not my fault. He deserved it." You rubbed the back of your neck awkwardly before smiling a bit. "Well, if you say so." Her eyes flickered back to you. "You're just gonna believe me?" Her tone wary. You nodded slowly. "I take girls side alot." You joked, waiting for a laugh. She looked at you unimpressed and kept walking.
Well, that shattered your ego quite a bit. You stood for a few moments before catching up and walking beside her once more. Usually girls laughed their asses off at your jokes, not this one of course. That kind of interested you though..You cleared your head and kept the conversation going. "Soo..going to Eren's party too?" You asked, a hopeful smile on your face. She nodded briefly. "I don't usually go to parties, but I owe him a favor.." She trailed off before speaking again. "Shouldn't you be with your friends?"
You sighed and looked up at the sky as you walked together. "Yeah, but I think Connie got grounded last minute for doing something dumb, he said he was sneaking out later. Sasha probably went to the gas station early to snack on something." She hummed in response and you looked to her. "What about you? Shouldn't you be with Reiner or Bertholdt?" "I had to take care of something." Jeez, even her responses were brief. You nodded your head, and stayed quiet the rest of the walk.
Soon you both arrived to the house. It was a big nice house, as Eren had two loving parent's (though you would never guess with the way he acts.) She walked past the kids on the lawn who were watching her with caution and into the house. Your ears were greeted with The Motto by Drake. Annie looked around and sighed, looking back at you. "My friends aren't here yet, So i guess I'll stay with you for a bit." She said it like it was such a chore, but you didn't complain, as Connie and Sasha hadn't arrived. You hid your smile and nodded. This would be a fun night..
