Chapter Text
In a sky full of fireflies
I prance next to tides,
Hoping and wishing for
The dawn of a new forge
Most amazing and splendid,
So kindly all-their-heart tended,
Knowing all love and grace
While giving truth fastest chase:
❇︎
Living and dying, laughing and crying;
Climbing and swinging, fighting and flying—
All the same for all of life's sake,
Becoming one and leaving nothing to fate
Cycles that never cease nor end.
They're never far—just around bends—
So I eternally travel and eternally wander
To horizons that leave me to ponder:
❇︎
"When will the next cycle appear
To sweep away the weary frontier?"
And so I impatiently await
For the gods to choose the date,
Skipping excitedly for
The next greatest tour
Of Creation and its creatures,
Observing newborn methods and measures
❇︎
Of cycles never ceasing nor ending,
So wisely time should we be spending.
