Summary
The room isn’t as empty as Mack had expected. Someone is reclined on one of the chaiselouges, a book in hand. Mack recognises the blond man as soon as he looks up. It’s impossible not to because his face is everywhere in the atelier. His blue eyes looking down from an oil painting, the sharp curve of his jaw on a marble statue. He’s dressed only in a black silk robe, his curls are framing his slender, pale face like a halo.
“This is my assistant, William,” Toffoli says.
A sly smile dances over William’s lips. “Call me Will.”
There’s an air of arrogance in his voice, like he just bestowed a great honour on Mack by offering him a nickname.

Or: it’s early spring when budding artist Macklin Celebrini is shipped off to the estate of eccentric painter Tyler Toffoli by his father to hone his craft. There, he gets more than he bargained for when he meets Toffoli’s sharp-tongued muse, Will, who’s as beautiful as he is infuriating.
