It was Chimney who’d gotten the first notification, but Buck who’d picked up his phone.
“Uh—hey, Chim? Who’s Denny Whitaker?” Buck asked, voice projecting across the loft, where Chimney was sat on Buck’s ugly brown couch as he dropped Jee off. Not that Buck thought the couch was ugly, Chim’s words, not his.
”Dennis. Ahh. What’s it say?” Chimney asked in a cooing voice, partly because he was talking to Jee and not Buck but also because he was teasing Buck.
”Hah. He says he’s calling in that favor? One from 2016, apparently.”
—
“Boss, I believe you have a message. An assignment, from Dennis Nebraska Man, he is calling in a favor from 2016.” Say’s Fri.
Tony is three margaritas deep into movie night with the rest of the avengers, watching the shittiest movie Nat could find, while America’s Ass cooked them dinner.
“Well, squad, let’s get a move on!” He said, standing up not even drunk.
—
“Ruff, Ruff!” Said Odie, barking furiously at Garfield. His big ears were flapping, and Garfield plotted sending him to Saudi Arabia in the same box as Nermal, but duty calls.
”Well, he better have that pizza from last time.”
And Garfield was off, Odie at his side.

David sat with his family when his phone got a call. He was at the height of his fame. 1980’s was a great time. He was so thankful to that Dennis boy, who’d figured out a way to swap his conciousness to the past. But duty called. A favour was owed and finally repaid.
Already in his show makeup and outfit, he grabbed his time machine and got his 1989’s self to 2026.

Remus and had been perusing muggle clubs, snogging with the cute men and leaving g together, scoping but always in love with one another. Suddenly, Sirius felt that magic pull. He smiled wolvishly, canines exposed, and Remus knew that look. He returned the smile, as they let the pull take them to 2026.

Regulus sat at the kitchen table while James baked him some Orange flavoured cupcakes, served with the pomegranate tea.
The window to the French countryside exposed them to the world, but Regulus didn’t care. He loved the ocean view. Loved the days spent by the porch, during s heavier storm, teaching James French.
His phone beeped, vibrating against the table. Dennis’s contact.
—
Inside the Pitt, Dennis knew he didn’t have long. Robby would be leaving soon, a fact which sent fear down Dennis’s spine. He had to pray his message wen’t through to everyone it needed to reach.
Though internally, comflict was raging, he stayed neutral on the outside, skillfully treating patients, identifying patients and stitching up a few from triage.
Dana called for him, out of the blue, and he knew it’d worked.
”Darling, calling me up so soon? I had to escape the 80’s for you,” said David to Dennis.
“Kid, what the hell?” Dana asked, but Dennis was chatting everyone up.
”Oh, David! So glad you could make it. Love the makeup.”
”The wizard and my boy Dennis? What a treat. Still looking leng, loving the haircut mate.” Said Remus to Dennis, and Sirius was practically drooling at David Bowie. “Dennis, you know I love Bowie! Cruel thag yiu’ve called me here on buisiness.” He whined. James was flirting with a nurse to pass the time and Remus has petting Garfield and Odie.
”Dennis! Kid,” Dana sighed again.
Then the avenger’s came in.
”Dennis!”
“Tony!”
”Natasha!” Steve called out wanting to be included.
”Steve!” She replied, humouring him.
Chimney walked in, smiles and behind him was a golden retriever man and a mixed baby. “Hey, Denny boy! Thanks for helping me in 2016, I’m here now,”
”Slash Robby’s tires.” Dennis said.
They all scurried off.
