a semicolon
a semicolon
but the comma is morphing into a full stop, and I try to keep adding its tail back on, but like ouroboros,
it bites it, forming another circle.
why
I never wanted it to stop
all I did was try and try again. pulling the slick-coated tail out of its mouth. giving it food;
all it wants to eat is its own tail, becoming a period.
for once in my life I don't know what to do. I wish I could save you, ouroboros. I love you, ouroboros. even now as I watch the circles form themselves on the page as I frantically move my thumbs across the keyboard my eyes circle following the circular movements of my fingers and just going round and round and round in circles and it feels inescapable doesn't it it's probably because it is. and I can't stop it. what do I do
help me, ouroboros, I say. but ouroboros is too busy eating its own tail again to notice.
