Work Text:
I stared at the tree above me in Till, he lent against me as he scribbled a drawing onto his notebook.
The air in the garden was calm and still like it always was, breathable and somewhat pleasant.
“Look!” Till said to me after a few minutes of scribbling, I rested my head on his shoulder and looked at the drawing. A red flower was carefully drawn in the center of the page, with a smaller one on the side that looked like.. Me?
I smiled at him before speaking, “It looks great.”
He gave me that large, warm smile he always did, he rested his head on the tree behind us.
“Thanks Ivan” He finally said, closing his eyes to presumably go to sleep.
I sighed and laid back next to him, I felt the warmth of him next to me.
Till was such a great artist, he could practically draw anything he wanted with ease.
I didn’t really have much of a skill, but as long as I was with Till, nothing else mattered to me.
Me and him have fought in the past which does hurt at times but he’s still my best friend and I couldn’t even imagine losing him.
I may not know what true love is, but I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, Till.
Till?
Pain shot through my back, one after another.
Until everything seemed to slow down.
Cold rain mixed with blood pooled the floor.
Soon all I could hear was the sound of cheers, and weeping.
Till, I’m sorry.
But it was all for you.
