Summary
Has anyone seen the 2001 movie "Sweet November" with Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron? Well this fic is just that with a few tweaks to keep it more in character.
Shane Hollander is a stressed out and single star of the Montreal Voyagers,. Ilya Rozanov is a new in town dog groomer. Both men need to take their driver's license exam. When Ilya attempts to cheat off of Shane, he gets kicked out and told he cannot retake the test for a month. Ilya convinces Shane to help him out.
“Ah, Mr. Helper-man. First you steal identity, then you steal my job. What next?” Rozanov says and then takes a long drag.
“What? I didn’t steal your job!” Shane replies, the now familiar heat returning, “And you shouldn’t smoke.”
Rozanov laughs and then schools his features, “You owe me now.”
“For what?”
“For making me fail test. Now I cannot drive. I drive for work,” Rozanov replies, “Now I cannot work.”
“I don’t see how any of this is my fault, you were the one trying to cheat!”
