A downward spiral gets me high

Summary:

''faithful are the wounds of a friend, profuse are the kisses of an enemy.''
Draco Malfoy seemed to read others so well. It was why, when he was 10, he stated clearly he wanted to go to Durmstrang. His mother had just been thinking of sending him to Hogwarts.
But what happens when years later-when he's 14, quite tall for his age, he gets asked to represent Durmstrang at that very same school he refused to go to? Might he meet new people? Learn new things? Find out a certain boys deepest secrets...?

I really hate how the letter turned out 🫩

Dear Sir Malfoy,

We at Hogwarts are delighted to announce that we will be holding the Tri-wizard tournaments this school year. Headmaster Dumbledore believes it necessary to invite students from Durmstrang, and would like to allow you to be the frontman for Durmstrang.

The reason we say this is because sadly, your headmaster is under serious controversy, and allowing him to represent the school would be absolutely mad. I will remark that this is, indeed, a very high request for such a young boy as yourself, but we all believe you shall be able to take it head on.

Your determination, bravery, and overall strength has proven you-and the rest of the boys at Durmstrang, worthy of such opportunities. So, with that said, the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry would like to cordially invite Durmstrang to the annual Tri-wizard tournaments.

Sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall
