Steve didn’t trust her. Especially not after seeing the weapons that killed Bucky in the hands of the “good guys”.
Over time, she’d proven herself a valuable ally and a good friend. Foiling Project Insight. Looking for Bucky. Though, Steve mused, the latter might’ve been because of Sam.
Nat helped again when the Accords hit. When they found refuge in Wakanda and with the missions that followed.
They were sitting near Bucky’s hut, Bucky curled into him, and Sam and Nat stretched out beside Steve, enjoying the sun.
His family was safe.
He was glad Nat was part of it.
